How do you install mods on Mc Java I don’t know how to install mods

1 install forge or fabric off of the website, use the version you want or the version the mode needs and then launch the game then close it once it loads up 2 go onto curseforge or the mods website to install the version of the mod and the right client (forge or fabric) 3 press windows + R and type in %appdata% to get to your .minecraft folder 4. put the mod into the “mods” folder and if there isn’t one, make one named “mods” 5. load up the game, if it doesn’t start it might need an API like a fabric api, it’s easy to install them and if there’s more trouble then search it up on youtube or google
