That’s 100% correct With that said. 4-8’s destroying the vehicle is way more impressive than 4-12’s. That’s what the clients goal was. Of course the larger the better within reason.

Under my truck seat I'm runing 2 - DC Audio M3 8d4 and 2 - DD Audio Redline 608's d4 wired to 0.5ohm in a split chamber with a 4" aero in each chamber on a JP23V2. They are def louder than anyone would need. I sold my old kicker cxa1800.1 and let buyer hear it run on these subs, and his jaw dropped and had to take a long second look in my back seat to see them 8's move! And that guy was running 2 - 15's. I don't have enough space for 4-2508's but I would like to get 3 of them under my seat at some point! I have (1) - sw2508SC just need want at least one more now which my dealer tells me DD can not give a lead time date on orders for new 2508s and that really sucks. So, I guess now I'm on a hunt for 2508's.

@@allaroundflat4634 clipping is caused by several things but almost always too much signal from source unit. Aka whomever tuned it. Check settings. Also little things like bass boost on radio. Loudness on radio cam cause it also.

Why do you need 4k watts for that it's not impressive for 4 8s on 4k watts I'm currently building a system with 4 8s on about 1200 watts and I'm pretty sure it will be louder than this. Seems like a really inefficient box imo

4 8s is 32” of cone area 2 12s is 24 the 8s win period and you can fit them under your seat instead of your back seat having to be removed.

@@Justthemow thats a different conversation altogether though, i currently have a single dd audio 608d 8" in the trunk of my crv and loving the bass and space but also have a couple of 12 subs for when i dont need to have space currently my favourite is my jlaudio 12w3v3 that thing is unreal on just 500wrms and a phoenix gold ti12elite for running the amp.on full tilt at 1000w @ 2 ohm and that thing just slowly shakes the car apart but the box takes up the whole trunk
