It definitely had the scratch by his head. If you’re talking about the horizontal brown mark, they may have been the basketball print on the card.

I would guess there is a .005 chance it gets a 10, as that back scratch is way too much to overlook. I think with that scratch on the back and some light scratches still on the front that the card is best suited in a 8 or 8.5 holder. Good luck with the results

I think they will grade that harder than u think, that's like cracking a low pop MJ hoping for a grade bump. That's one of Kobe's most sought after cards. I'd be surprised if that got a 9 most likely a PSA 8 but I hope I'm wrong 😂

You should try the off bug spray people use it to get the yellowing off of headlights and yellowing plastic. Give it a shot.

Didn't realise you coul get 9's with severe scratches. Never used to submit cards for grading that had scratches on. Will consider sending some for grading

What sponge are you using? I have a bunch of Jeter rookies that the foil is scratched on, I want to give the McGuires a shot, I just didn’t want to grab the wrong sponge. Kurt’s didn’t do much for the scratches, even though I love the product. Good work, I hope you get a 10.

It’s just a standard microfiber cloth. The Meguiar’s is the Ultimate Compound.

Spoilers for you, greening of that magnitude is an auto-8. You better pray that it does not get bumped down to a 7 from some other flaw. Actually the top to bottom centering is off, godspeed.

It’s a foam pad that comes with the Kurt’s card care set. It protects the card from surface damage while you’re working on it

I purchased a Michael Jordan Fleer 86 PSA 1 in 2021 and used Kurts Card Care products to remove the wrinkles and creases. I resubmitted it to PSA and it came back as a 10. Sold it for $517k
