Nice video Ryland, glad to see Techled getting a little shine. They also found a niche with alot of spanish churches. I got a chance to help out a pastor friend of mine a couple years ago who was looking for an LED wall to be purchased and installed before an Easter weekend . He was also on a budget, and I quickly found out that we were priced out of a lot of the other known vendor options by a considerable amount. Through an acquaintance, I got connected to Techled and I gotta say the experience was awesome, The price allowed us to upgrade the NovaStar processor. They worked directly with our electrician to make sure we had the right connections and breakers. The system we got shipped with a super quick turnaround and with a couple extra panels that are easy to replace, we ended up using them because we noticed a couple dead pixels, but the company also sent us a few extra panels after that to have on hand.

Thanks for the video. What was the final size & cost? These are often not shared with viewers, thanks
@steve01010Ай бұрын
I'm not familiar with Grecko, but the final size is 12.6FT X 6.3FT (aspect ratio of 2:1) and based upon other 2.5mm budget walls I've quoted my guess would be that this is somewhere in the neighborhood of $20K to $25K without installation.

@@steve01010 that is the correct size. They have packages listed on their site techledwall.com/indoor-led-screens/product-p25/ but you can use the link in the description for 10% off!

We are in the early stages of planning for a new sanctuary in the next 3 - 5 years. I know LED tech will probably radically change and get better and hopefully lower cost. I love the idea of coming back with a 6month and 1 year review. I am not sure how it could be done but I would love to know how much does the brightness fade over those times. How many dead pixels or panels have to be sent back for replacement. You also mentioned considerations for livestream. What would those considerations be? Is that something we would make for the cameras being used so we do not see flicker or pixels? This is one of the best videos I have seen that breaks down the basics of what to look for and I did not know I should be looking for NovaStar Processors.

Did you look into Altitude LED from the Churchfront guys? It seems they are mostly just reselling?

Awesome video! Did you compare TechLED to Worship Productions? If so what made you decide to go with TechLED?
@RylandRussellАй бұрын
While I've only seen two screens from them in person, they didn't impress me as much. I have a friend that has had pretty good luck with them though. Have you used them?
@RylandRussellАй бұрын
Another reason I went with TechLED is I looked at churches that they had tagged in old posts as customers and then reached out directly to their staff to get reviews. Everyone of them spoke very highly of their experience and the product.
@joshstates3363Ай бұрын
@@RylandRussell we do have one of WP’s walls and when purchasing it was a hard choice between the two. The reason we went with WP was the backing between the pixels was black vs TechLED was a dark grey. At least the model that we had side by side comparison at NAMM. We’ve had our wall for almost a year with two set changes and no issues. We put it in our student center as a test to see how it would hold up as we currently are building a new sanctuary and will be installing a 60x10 main wall. TechLED is still in our running for that and look forward to hearing your feedback.
@RylandRussellАй бұрын
@@joshstates3363 interesting! Ya ours are the actual panel you see me filming at 2:38 and they are for sure black. I know what you mean about some walls like that though. This one disappears as you’d think when no content is on it.

What are the honest benefits to upgrading to an LED wall over a projector? Other than the “cool” factor. Shouldn’t you be able to view everything on an LED wall the same as a projector. It seems like the only thing that really matters is the programming of the information (image) you’re sending to it.
@RylandRussellАй бұрын
@@patricklegions quite a few things, might make a follow up video. Great question that is very valid!
@patricklegionsАй бұрын
@@RylandRussell that would be great! Thanks for the content, great video.
@dennishoffleitАй бұрын
An image of an LED has much more brightness and clarity. LED isn’t as much affected by light that shines onto it like a projection screen. When it’s off it is black and not white. You don’t have problems with sunlight. So it’s more than just cool… The prices these days are much lower than a few years ago. If you don’t have a projector or need to replace one, the price difference might not be that big anymore. Talking about +20k ANSI Lumens projectors.
