Any idea how this compares to their K670?
@GadgetInspector4 жыл бұрын
The one tested in this video performs much better. I actually tested the K670 a couple years ago: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2W2hH-Ff956oa8. Not too bad, but again, I prefer the K683A.

@@GadgetInspector Thanks for the reply. Pretty lucky to find someone who has tested both. Also this is somehow the only review of this mic on KZbin lol

I could really tell the difference between the settings adjustment. Back in the day, DJ’s called those mics woofer mic. But, with new technology, mics today is at a whole different level. Thanks for the information in your review Brother
@GadgetInspector4 жыл бұрын
Yea I was really surprised by how good it is. I probably could have boosted the levels some, but I was trying not to enhance it at all. Don't need to spend a gazillion dollars for a decent mic these days.

You really helped me find a fairly decent budget microphone. Thank you so much!

Awesome, glad to hear that!
@Tibug3 жыл бұрын
Just a note: The distance to the microphone varies, that is you're more close to the AT than to the Fifine. That makes a big part of the perceived difference.
@GadgetInspector3 жыл бұрын
I go into that in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5yaq6l6mLZ4mJI. The proper distance from the mic makes a huge difference.

This or the FiFine T669 that includes boom arm / tripod / pop filter / shock absorber? Here in SA, there's a $2 difference between the two. Would love to know the difference in quality.

Thank you so much for your video and for sharing your talents. I was wondering if you would have any suggestions or where I could look. I'm looking for a good mic/webcam (I know I may have to get them separately ;() for online zoom violin lessons. I'm not sure which type of mic, maybe a lavalier but not necessarily the table mic, in any case I would need something I can use to talk and that would also process the violin sound acoustically as well. Please kindly advise if you can. Thanks so much again!

@GadgetInspector4 жыл бұрын
I normalized the audio track but you're right, I should have boosted the FIFINE. I was trying not to make too many adjustments though to make sure I didn't enhance anything. Anything greater than the gain level it was at caused distortion I thought. Thanks for the observation though.

is it possible to turn off hearing yourself when you have headphones plugged into the microphone?
@GadgetInspector3 жыл бұрын
Yep, its a setting on your PC. Go into you sound settings select the recording tab, then right click on the microphone, then properties, then the listen tab, then uncheck the Listen to this device box. I think this only works if you have your headphones plugged into the PC, not the mic itself.
