Sweet build. Love the symmetry of the cable runs - bravo! I wish I had space for a cargo bike too.

“I need someone with a cargo bike to come help me out” is the new “I need someone with. Truck to come help me out” and I love that ❤️

Thought this was another Gary's Projects vid for a second. Really like how you built yours up. The Simworks cables are a nice cherry on top.

I got a cargo bike in June (A Riese & Muller Load 75) and I've already put almost 1,200 km on it. It's fantastic, and such a great way to get around with kids, groceries, and stuff.

Congrats on that beauty, it really looks like a cute little workhorse, I’m very happy for you! :) To me compact cargo bikes with small but chunky tires present the perfect balance between looking like a beloved toy and being super useful for daily life. I riding a omnium mini for my daily commuter a it’s just ridiculous how much weight that one can handle. Adding a cargo bike to my bike collection, even a small one, changed my life more than any bike before that.

"And I think this will be last one for a while. I always say that." 👏 I feel very seen with that comment. Will be curious to hear your opinions of the drive train after you've had the bike for a while. .

I can totally relate to the bit at the end when you mentioned your social battery was depleted. 😅 That is me after any kind of social event! Introverts gather here! 😂❤

Nice Monopole Cargo Bike, congratulations. I use a Roland bike trailer, because I already own an E-trike. Same cargo capacity as your Monopole.

Best handlebars, great choice! 🥰 Didnt realize it has belt steering as you showed it on Insta! Small cargobikes are the best! Our Omnium Mini is a great workhorse all year round as well. Hope you'll have a chance for some touring on the Monopole, would be interesting to see how it handles a day of bikepacking. Greetz! P.S: typicial Super 73 Rider at 13:37 😂😂

I love bikes but I hate those ones. Not against e-bikes but they’re just e-motorbikes.

I would love one but they are a bit out of my immediate price range at $4700 for the non-ebike version. Great review though!

What sweet cago bike! Hey maybe you can get a side gig running items and such for people in your neighborhood where you live! Ask for payment in bike parts and coffee! Plus you can kill two birds with one stone (you do not have to kill the birds) by enjoying the ride at the sametime. Thanks for sharing! 여러분의 바퀴가 그곳에서 빠르고 안전하기를 바랍니다!

This takes me 20-25 years back, when i rode cargobikes 10 hours a day for a living. Most were massive trikes (no E-assist then!), but my favourite was the one which your bike reminds me of - the Kemper Filibus, with the wonderful old Sachs 3x7. The on-board footage just went straight into my muscle memory of that filibus. Nowadays I have an Elephant Bike in the UK and a Gazelle with the ubiquitous dutch crate for Amsterdam (plus an antique German monster). I will never willingly be without a cargobike, and I’m sure that in a year from now you will wonder how you ever managed. In other matters, I notice that you must be using some form of chest cam mount, as do I sometimes, but I’ve never found a comfortable one. Do you have any suggestions?

Always wanted a cargo bike but I feel like I wouldn’t have enough use for it in my daily life (though I’m sure it would be useful if I had it.

I was the same but now I love it and will find reasons to use it.

Otherwise try a bike trailer, same load volume. Sure less heavy lift capacity than a cargo bike. But for loads up to 40 kg/ 88 lbs a trailer will fine. Much cheaper too.

@@mardiffv.8775I’ve got two pannier bags that are 25 litres each, pretty great for grocery shopping but not much good for bulky items.
