Actually the exhaust system fell off about a week after I had it took it back to the dealership to get it fixed and they said the frame was rusted out.

I'll watch anything you guys post. I was really surprised that the mileage took such a big hit towing with the Maverick. I don't think it affects my Equinox that much.

Looks like you were at the Stonelick Lake ramp. Be careful on that ramp. There is a gap in the ramp at the dock. I saw a pickup get its wheel stuck in that gap and scrape the side of his truck. Was a painful and expensive boat launch! I don’t have that problem with my kayak. 😊

You don't need to use tow mode for that. I don't amd I get 38 mpg with a very similar load.

I have pulled my bayliner 175 (1900lbs dry weight) with my hybrid, with ease. I was worried about pulling up a wet ramp but have had zero issues. It pulls great! I cant say I would pull it a couple hundred miles or anything but locally, no issues.
