How to avoid your battery getting hit with a hammer saw? Just don't have a battery in the robot! Battery outside is totally fine as we have seen in the second fight. 😂

Or just don't have a lipo battery! It's a very real strategy for control bots to opt for a non-lipo battery for increased durability.

Glad this event got covered! Agitation and ishtar are a wicked pair of bots. I am once again reminded of the crime that was orby BLADE getting rejected from last season. I can't tell what weight class the vert next to it is but it also looks sick.

Josh, What are you using to operate that arm on the saw. Works perfectly. I am working on a redesign of Dark Stinger and I am trying to figure out the arm in terms of a clutch or other mechanism. Brilliant design by the way and congratulations.

@@russbarrow It's an 1806 on a 2-stage 27:1 22mm gearbox. The arm is coupled to the gearbox solely through the white TPU linkage on the right side of the arm. On impact the linkage will stretch and prevent a majority of the shock from reaching the gearbox.

@@joshuakong7175 Thank you. I had imagined a clutch, I guess you just had to find the right balance between slipping and moving the arm. I am also planning a TPU clutch like a square (male) in a larger TPU square (female).
