This channel exists to document unit counters within StarCraft 2. Tya's Unit Tournament features epic battles between units in StarCraft 2, using music from the game's soundtrack. Units are chosen from Protoss, Terran and Zerg forces, or a coop commander such as Raynor, Nova, Artanis, or Kerrigan. Units will independently use their abilities, in a basic way. All units use Legacy of the Void stats, the same units you'd see in SC2 esports controlled by the likes of Serral, Maru, and ByuN. The resource beneath vespene is the unit's cost in the mod I run on the SC2 arcade, Direct Strike. Enjoy!

@@F1eldHonor because the impaler didn't kill it, it was killed by a trigger so it wouldn't get in the way of the next fight. The reaver is too slow to wriggle off stage by itself.

In every match up you did, the burrowing part is always the most frustrating. Impaler has like 12 range, that advantage pretty much vaporized when they had to burrow right at the moment.

Big Air works pretty good. Brood Queens are absolute powerhouses in taking down single targets. Because with "Spawn Brooding" they are litterally just a pair of Yamatos on demand, For 100/100 cost.

Mecha zergling weren't even close to their full power. With stetellites and Gary they have an ability to get a shield that makes them receive a maximum of 10 damage. This is useful against mutators such as heroes of the storm.

@@lupesnow5028 The mecha zerlings would have tanked the mines, they'll get at best 10 damage. It's one of the reasons why mecha zerlings are one of stetmann's most powerful weapons and why they are so good at dealing with heroes of the storm.

@@durshurrikun150 10 per mines. Add 45 mines, the splash from the hellbat and the splash from the tanks and the poor 40hp zerglings won't last long even with harden shield. Those lings are great against high damage single target attacks, but not so much against splash attacks It's worth testing tho, if Tya is reading this

@@L3monsta that is not what happened dehaka impaler has DOT damage they deal 200 damage over 10 second That wasn’t a trigger If you check Tya video that has only ever happened when dehaka impaler was involved like their fight against dragoon Tya has never trigger a unit death on screen it alway been off screen

This was a tough one, the only one I got was Behemoth (I remembered their AoE attacks), and Aegis guards. That Aegis Guard/Vanguard fight was a brutal one.

Holyshit, Lurker/Impaled AI triggers me so damn much. Tya fixed Siege Tank AI in some matches, can we get improved Lurker AI too? It's one thing if everyone is dumb, but if we have auto blinking Stalkers and warping Bships we can get Hold Position Lurkers.

If its a standard unit, the skin is probably one of the skin packs Blizzard used to sell to fundraise for the Blizzcon tournament. You can find them in the shop. If the unit has a different name, like Heavy Tank or Infested Diamondback, then its a Co-op unit. Highly recommend checking out co-op. Its super fun. Probably the best part about SC2.

Faster attack speed as well as having an Attack Bonus vs Armored... They deal basically tripple damage to units with the "Armored" tag (which Immortal variants all have).

The guard are powerful they have 300 shield that recharge to full every 60 second and have stimpack that gave them 200% attack speed with no downside They also splash in a cone that deal 30 % of their auto attack and they slow enemies for good measure

To put into prespective, 3 star Aegis Guard deals (vs armoured) 70 dmg per shot and fires (with his 15 sec stimpack) once every 0.5 sec., with total dps of around 130-140, depending on target armour. All that on dude that also has 525 hp and 300 shield :D .

Aegis guards are the strongest anti ground units in the game, bar non. Even the elite thors from the end of heart of the swarm lose out to them, and those things 1v1 a fully stacked murder kerrigan. I'm not entirely sure if the odin can beat 1 of them.

It did. Mecha infestor spawns a number of eggs, which hatch into mecha roaches and mecha ravagers, which are about as good as regular ones on a timed life. Issue is, they are eggs, and all got obliterated before they could hatch.

why do impalers and lurkers unburrow and stand around but tanks don't unsiege? they're absolutely not being efficient at all. I feel like it would be more efficient to just start them burrowed or have them all burrow when one of them is in range of an enemy

In this case it's okay because Nova's heavy siege tank has an upgrade that gradually increases its range (up to 18) the longer it's sieged, but I have also noticed this behaviour in regular tanks in recent videos where they no longer unsiege without enemies in range. Hopefully the lurkers get the same upgrade to their AI because their pathfinding is a lot worse.

Hydrid behemoths are not scary at all, they are just tanky. Hybrid dominators are scary due to storms and plasma blast. And yeah, Aegis guard shreds mechanical unit at level 3.
