when you dismant the troops in the camp they regain the losted health, if you continue stacking without going into camp they won't have pilum and they won't have any health, that's why in the first attack you don't loose men but then when they are weakened they die too many. Also the battle formation is very useful vs big armies ( not when all the enemies are attacking a flank) because it prevents a lot of deaths, when the enemy is decimated you call the to attack and finish the rest. 💪🤙 (love the sppifing Brit allusion)

Baron it PAINS ME to see them all in scale armor. The next tier is very cheap and 20% dmg negation. Worth it. I actually upgrade all my romans to tier 2 armor, and my Officers and NCOs to 3rd tier. PLEASE

Trust me, this game is much bigger and harder than it is at the start. Best way to win is to not slave people, and min tax, or there will be big rebels and much larger enemy forces.

The more lands you take the better, and convoys too. Enemy numbers will start to rise massively. The biggest enemy army that I have seen was 300 soldiers.
