That's right, that's their only upside, because when there is a whole bunch of units they get overwhelmed very easily. That's why I think it's ironic when the halflings is the hardest thing to kill as a musketeer because of how many they usually are.

Idea: 3 unit challenge: you can ONLY use the tech level you are against (e.g. medieval vs medieval / West vs West)...you CAN use secret units and take control, but you can only have 3 units. A horse counts as 2, same as a cannon/catapult but the mammoth doesn't if that helps. : D

one thing you need to learn: muskets are RANGED units not MELEE. PUT THEM FURTHER AWAY FROM THE ENEMY NOT CHARGING AT SWORDSMEN

You know even ranged units have an maximum range right? If you were to place them further away they would just walk closer and even ruining the formation putting the. Up front can also use the enemies terrain against them, also while putting the, on roofs seem like a good idea there are certain spots where the muskets can’t aim down to hit the units directly below them and if their ai controled they’ll just walk off and die

@@catwiththevape their max range is long enough the ai just walks forward anyway. putting them further back gives them more time before they walk into the enemy and the formation doesnt even matter because having them together usually ends up in multiple musketeers targeting the same unit and wasting a shot by both hitting them. plus he's always controlling one of the musketeers anyway

By formation I mean some musketeers shoot earlier than the rest which can clear canon fodder troops to where when the 2nd line approaches they will shoot the important targets if you placed them at the back it would ruin that formation they would group up and shoot at all the same time.

With the archers a trick that sometimes works is A hiding behind one of your statued men and B moving left to right at range, as both throw off aim. Really focusing any hard to hit unit down with your first volley is essential because otherwise its just ggs.

In the "Deffinitly not an ambush level," that specific map is easily cheesable. Place a unit on the tree in the middle that hangs off the edge. As long as they are short-range or mele, they will simply walk off the edge. If you take control of the charicter, you can watch as they drown themselfs.

The insistence to use ranged units up front outside of distractions irked me more than it should have lol (of course, sometimes it's a must, like removing the snake archers on the final one) I kept watching at times just to see if you would start placing them further sometimes and use a distraction one to buy yourself time but you only ever did in half measure ways. Not really sure why! I get they're less accurate at a range, but an extra volley or two of time is almost always gonna be more powerful than the loss of a few missed shots

This game has the same graphics of the Battle Siege Engine Game where you have to build one vehicle and control it to complete a task. Been a while don't recall what it was called. Also the same graphics as the Jumping around human fall flat that was the other one. I don't mind it sort of soft cells.
