This is bs If police can have dark windows for Safety . We should be able to also. Some states has no limit neither. So it’s all about $$. I travel alone as a woman with 3 daughters . I don’t want people See inside our car. They can ran my license plates to find out I’m Clean and a CDL holder. Police needs to think this doesn’t make any sense . If you have a disability that requires tint on all your windows the ADA protects you and allows you to keep your tint in any state. I went to court Pro Se in Iowa and won my case. There is precedent federal law on this.

In Miami?!! I’ve seen plenty of cars with 5% or darker tints.. that cop was just bored and like he said probably having a bad day. I’m from Miami living in Orlando now and I have 0% back tints 15% fronts and windshield and never ever gotten stop.. even had cops next to me.. that cop like I said wanted to be a dick

Came across this video trying to see how ima fight my tickets, I feel the boy pain this literally happened to me this morning, the officer pulled me over for no reason and when he couldn’t find anything he says my window is too dark and wrote me a ticket for four windows, and on top of that I pulled over and put my car in park and took off my seat belt and he gave me a ticket for that too !

Ppl need to know their rights and always film police. The kid didn’t have to help the cop in his investigation. There is no law that he can arrest you for if you told him you’re not lowering your windows so he can test it for tint. Of course he’ll make up a law and arrest you anyway but you’ll get $30-$50gs a few years later for that false arrest.

Um.. The back door glass and the back windshield can be as dark as they want them to be. The front door glass 70%. The front windshield can have front tint from the top down 5 inchs. As to the tag it is legal. You can clearly read the tag letters and numbers. This stop illegal. He needs to sui them for racially profileing.

First of all, tinted windows are simply not necessary on cars, trucks, or ANY vehicles, save security vehicles & transports. Having tinted windows just enables motorists the opportunity to possibly engage in clandestine behavior. In parking lots, when next to a vehicle with tinted windows and trying to back out, it's makes safely seeing oncoming traffic more of a challenge. Tinted windows are especially hazardous for law enforcement, especially when they approach a vehicle during an investigation. A Police Officer should be able to CLEARLY inside a vehicle. Bottomline, they should be illegal. If people are caught with them, they should be required by law to replace the glass at their own expense and pay a hefty fine, if they obtain them after the law enacted.
