Hi Anthony, thank you so much for taking the time to do this incredible interview with Mr. Kemp. I suffer from the same "condition" as him, perpetually being lost in familiar places, with absolutely no navigation skills, and have always been confused about why. I have trouble within my own house, workplace, driving outside in the same neighborhoods I grew up in, etc. I have just bought the book, and am really looking forward to reading it. Thank you for bringing this to light and having such an enlightening conversation.

Thanks for covering this! I have dyscalculia and a terrible sense of direction myself. I will look into the book. I've already added it to my amazon cart.

@@AnthonyMetivierMMM I'm not great at them yet, but I have a memory journal for practicing them. (Especially memory palaces) I'm enjoying your masterclass course, BTW. 👍

This is a good topic. I used to be able to know which direction I was pointing in without a compass. I learned that technique from an old guru. I want to get that technique back with memory methods.and good ole fashioned situational awareness.

Hello Anthony I just finished your book "the victorious mind" and I was wondering if you heard about this book "Solomon's Memory Palace: A Freemason's Guide to the Ancient Art of Memoria Verborum" it's one of my favourite memory improvement books, I think it holds a lot of value to maximize the efficiency of the memory palace technique.

Hi sir I love the way you teach us so many techniques. I want to remember a page of information in a few minutes with memory palace. How can I reach that mastery?. How many years do I have to practice? How will I start.?Is there any progressive steps or milestone you can share?

(Edited after Anthony's reply about how diagnosis can be a tool or a faster way to explain for those who are judgemental. Sorry.). -Picked the book up at the local library and it's actually fun to read, not as dry as it could have been given that it's about neurology. Christopher Kemp has a way of keeping the topic interesting.

@@AnthonyMetivierMMM and the direction the conversation kept going between the two of you was nice to hear. It seems to me that due to the thoughtfulness involved, memory work might have some added benefits to just being a better, more caring human being, as well.

Yes, I think that is true. Though it does get to the heads of some memory competitors, it's actually very uncommon. Most people become better and there are scientific reasons to believe that it is because memory training stimulates positive chemicals and pleasing brain states. I think this is why a lot of the early texts talk about the experience of light in the mind and some of them focused on matters relating to infinity.

If you're asking to see if it might be available at your local library, it was published in 2022. I found a few copies in ours, and the county library system here is frugal (they don't even inter-library loan).
