I looked up a guide for SVC Chaos Athena and found this: Athena will summon a bird and it will peck the ground, causing a low earthquake. After that, Athena will follow it up with an overhead spiked mace. The second hit of the move will hit as an OTG after the bird pecks the ground if the opponent got hit. You cannot cancel any of the hits. Don't use this move, most opponents will just know how to avoid it. You can easily block low then high, GCFS and do any punish you can think of. Alternatively, you can jump the low attack and as she's falling down, you can hit her with a DP and there's nothing she can do with it. Even a five year old can punish this move; worst special in the game. The only people who will fall for it are those who don't know better. You can't even say it's a move that you could maybe troll with by using it at a random point on unsuspecting players, because the startup is so long that it's impossible to not see it coming. jmcrofts five years old confirmed!

Yeah I bought lethal league blaze the other day, it's a ton of fun. I love these strange and completely unique kinds of competitive "fighter" games like this. Like Duckgame is another one, I've had so much fun with Duckgame over the years it's insane. The closest thing that kinda sorta resembles it is Smash Bros, but Duckgame's levels are a lot larger and more complicated, and there's a lot more weapons and items, and it's a lot more whacky. I only originally got Duckgame cos Totalbiscuit made a video about it and couldn't stop laughing the whole time. RIP TB

So TSS is a great game once you learn it. Basics is that you want to lower the stack of things on screen low enough to blow up by explosions near it. Then you only want to shoot once and pop everything. The more things you blow up at once, the more fireballs you send to your opponent. The opponent can shoot those fireballs back, and once they do, they start flashing. If you send a flashing fireball back again, then it turns into a "Special Attack" - basically those little dino things and the giant Nanja Monja. There is also a mechanic that if you blast enough fireballs at once or hit a massive combo, you can summon a boss attack to the other player. The two mechanics you guys missed were the coins - The first coin that shows up breaks all the bubbles around the incoming back so you can pop them faster. The second one where you turn yellow and flash means that for every combo explosion or fireball sent back to your opponent, you send 1 fireball. If both players are in this state, have fun, the game is going to slow down tremendously. Also with the POW meter at the bottom - when its maxed and you do a max charge, you send a boss to the opponent immediately. As for the health - every time you get hit by a neutral mob, you send 1 full heart back to your opponent.

This got me thinking how I'd love to see pro fighters handling classic, or just lesser popular/well known games. Street Fighter 6? I'd love to see how they play Street Fighter 1. Or TMNT Tournament Fighters (any of the platforms), Clayfighters, Primal Rage, Vs. mode from Turtles In Time, Double Dragon V, Shaqq Fu, or old school NES Karate Champ. Seeing how pros handle games they're not familiar with would be entertaining, and the jankier, the more broken, the more entertaining. There's also the legit interest in how they'd react and adapt to unfamiliar games.

The tiers in SVC Chaos are very evident. There are intentionally busted characters (think Akuma SF2). Athena is the SNK Final Boss so she's busted and Red Arremer is the Capcom final Boss and he's equally as busted. Then you have your sub boss characters like Mr Karate and Shin Akuma are also very strong with a crazy movelists and moves with crazy s
