Good Day Brad and Ta, You have the spirit of a stoic Thai - a happy Aussie with that forever “mai pen rai/sabai sabai’ (don't worry be happy) attitude. You take the perennial flooding in Bangkok all in stride. You experience it and accept it as a small inconvenience rather than a great nuisance. My kudos to you and Ta. Funny, I left home and wanted to go and live in Australia or America and now I have an urgent desire (racing against time) to return home but alas, I can’t. You, on the other hand, could have taken Ta back to Australia where it is cool and dry without flood, oppressive heat, mosquito bites, congested traffic, or air pollution. Instead, you happily settled down with Ta in Thailand. This saying holds through in your case - the grass is always greener on the other side. I fear Thailand will become the next Atlantis. I won’t live to see that happen but you and Ta are still young and may witness this inevitable tragic event eventually. LoL, I've noticed as well, collagen is currently being promoted in Thailand to the level, I can't follow anymore. Once, I've got my coffee served and it did taste a bit odd, I've asked why was the "unique" taste and then I've been enlightened with the fact that the coffee was enriched with collagen.... yes, even the coffee :-) Great video!!!

I don't think that any country has been immune to those challenges! I wish that I had shares in a few shipping companies. It now costs over US$22,000 to send a 20' container from Thailand to the US. 👍😢🙏

Good on you Ta eating the bones. I like eating bones when I have tinned sardines or salmon, otherwise I like crunching on fried fins or roasted chicken wings. Good source of calcium

That rain is really something this year, Brad. Hang in there. Yes, that flood water is really gross, especially in BKK with all the mixed in sewage. Edit: So heartwarming to see Thai people working in the rain, doing what they can to earn a living, and smiling / laughing as you and Ta pass by. Such a wonderful attitude!

The village is about 15 years old and that's the only time that its ever flooded. We still live in the condo, we just travel back to the village on weekends. 👍🙏
