I dunno about limits on what you can steal. I've had unemployed Kleptos steal 3 cars in a row first time.

yeah, if you go to the rich part of town and just steal several expensive cars you can become set very quickly.

8:55 Silly man. There's a toggle button in build buy mode to turn the daylight on for easy seeing. Right under the dropper/copy button.

When I was like 12 or 13, I had a klepto sim in Sunset Valley who only ever stole from the Landgraabs and the Altos (kind of a Robin Hood moment, just without the giving back to the poor part lmao). My ultimate goal for him was to steal Morgana Wolff from her husband but I didn't want her to live in poverty so I had to get rich first. But then for some unknown reason Geoffrey Landgraab fell in love with my sim, so I saw this as an opportunity and had him steal Geoffrey from Nancy along with her house and child 💀 I didn't want to keep the child at first, but from my many rounds at the Landgraab house I knew that Geoffrey was emotionally attached to him so I allowed him to keep Malcolm as a treat. Ah, good times 😂😂😂 I've made so many memories in this game...

Could you try and furnish an entire house using only the items you stole? You need to have all of the necessities by the end, so the sim can live comfortably there. Optionally, you might need to place ALL the stolen objects, even if it's like 10 street lamps, but that's just a suggestion. You may recolor the items. Its going to be a long one, but I think it'll be quite fun. I did that a few times :D.
