Can AFL 23 Recreate My Guernsey Designs ?

AFL 23 has a pretty in depth guernsey creator so we’re going to see how many of my guernsey designs I can recreate in AFL 23.
You might actually be surprised by the results.

Surely the Teal prison bars design would solve the issue of Port wanting to wear them and Collingwood having an issue with them being black and white.

The first port one looks so good here. Surely that design could get past Collingwood. They make clash guernseys for a reason anyway if they face each other.

Carlton don't want a white bit on top of their jumper. Nah. Certainly they can wear white or very light blue. But I'd have a vertical navy panel still with the white CFC. Something for traditionalists but the jumper is still a clash light blue.

There is also a red bomber logo in the academy but it is hard to find as it's just called custom so there's like 1000 results to look through

Brisbane should definitely have the blue shorts as an option. I'd make the yolk lower down the jumper as a clash jumper and then wear the blue shorts. They would look totally different to Suns Hawks Giants Swans etc... Blue shorts is an iconic look.

This is awesome, maybe you should try it with international cricket kits maybe? But i do hope Big Ant improve their accademy on all games because it feels lacking.

For an AFL game it’s pretty groundbreaking (I couldn’t do any of this in Evo 2) but as with anything, there’s so much potential for improvement

@@mattn1 big ant have pretty much kept it the same through all the games. Not really any cool in-built designs with some pretty basic options. But yeah still gotta be grateful for what we have.

@raccoonproductions7578 Considering there’s only 18 teams in the AFL it’s probably easier to do stuff like this but the ability to add custom logos should still allow you to create whatever you want

There’s still that frustrating ‘stuck in the mud’ movement issue but hopefully that’ll be fixed with the 2024 update

That silly to have a white lion when they're maroon blue and yellow. Reminds of stupid Claremont. They're navy and gold (gold CFC at front) but decided to wear white jumpers this year. Same as stupidly Hawthorn have a white number patch at the back when they're brown and gold.

hey man, I went to download the teams but some of them appear without any of the logos or designs on them, or are partially missing, not sure why.

Maybe try deleting them and re-downloading them again, I’ve had this happen before where the game will randomly censor everything

Ports look good. But somehow they need to mix up the black and white stripes and include teal somehow for it to get past Collingwood.

I'd like to have a video that shows improvements in jumpers. Like the Eagles orange jumper. It was good but just not good enough. Dockers 3D anchor. didn't quite work. Hawks brown and white robocop jumper... How can Matt N take those controversial jumpers and fine turn them and actually make them work. Like the Eagles orange one would sort out the back of the jumper at the very least. Think of the contrast of orange to navy. Dockers jumper seemed a bit too busy... and so on... So bringing back those designs but in a better way so it works.

@@mattn1 How did you redesign it then? It was maligned at the time. But was a classic example of a good idea implemented wrongly. Same with Freo's 3D jumper. How do you make it work. Once again much maligned.

@@mattn1 Freo is crazy to miss the opportunity on St Patricks Day. Everyone else wears green. Freo traditionally wears green. They could have worn a green jumper for the match. Got the fans to wear green. Green beer... merchandise sales etc... Freo have to get their merchandise sorted and sell their jumper better.

There’s nothing going on the bottom half of the dons jersey why not extended the stripes so the bomber is at the bottom
