Thank you so much for this info...my Grandfather, Father, and older Brother all died in their 50'd and 60's from liver disease and all 3 had Alcoholic Dementia. None been tried sobriety or treatment. I wish they could have watched this before it was too late.

Amazing presentation by Dr. Andrew Frank. Having some loved ones with dementia and others recovering from alcohol addition, I was always worried about whether I should stop alcohol altogether and this has answered some of the key questions I had. Thank you Dr. Frank!

I have been a teetotaler since 2002. I stopped because of my religious faith. This was before I knew about alcohol dementia. This debilitating condition came to my attention when I studied Wendy Williams and Bruse Willis both of whom battled alcoholism. I am more determined than ever not drink alcohol in this life especially considering this condition.

If you ever witness first hand a close friend or family member experience Real Delirium Tremens hospitalized for weeks with full-blown psychosis, you will wonder why anyone drinks at all. Alcoholic brain damage is obviousley irreversible.

This has been known by humans for hundreds of years. Also dementia is not Alzheimer's they are not the same thing at all. Dementia is not a disease it is something you can give yourself.

that's why it's good to eat greens as your first food to help digest glucose from Thiamine B2. Oh says whole grains and meat.
