I can't believe it's softer than the Via Olympus 2-it would be rather unrunnable.

@weuek it's softer but much more responsive!!! We had a demo evening at the shop this week and had very good feedback for it.

@@SoleMateRunning It's the first shoe that has actually replaced a zero drop shoe, which is a pity. Now, after a few years of wearing mostly heelless shoes for life, work and running, if I put on a drop shoe, I tend to hit the pavement with the heel first, as it unnecessarily hangs down under the foot. Not a pleasant experience at all.

@@SoleMateRunning They should use the Ego Pro in more shoes. That's the most responsive foam they have. I love it!

@weuek it is indeed and a very interesting move. I think they've seen that's where the market is, in terms of a max stack shoe with a drop, and have had to do somethibg to try and grab market share.

@weuek I think it's a price point and a point of difference thing though. As in they keep that for their top end and more responsive shoes, whereas the fwd via sits in that daily trainer category, where it needs to be a bit more flexible.
