Grizzly 700 w\eps all the way. I love mine, the best machine ive ever owned, and best performer overall. You wont be disappointed at all, the machine is amazing.

everybody always thinks they can do better when it comes to machines... i think it was sweet, everyone has their own style of gettin through the mud, plus screw the diff lock, the farther you can make it with the least, the cooler it is! if you can make it without, beauty!

Can am has a visco lock which is automatic. It won't lock until it spins so many times. Not really good for deep mud, but overall a good system. Alot of guys who ride deep stuff replace the visco with a 4-2-4 system.

@Eriklee123 i completely agree...i ride a 660 grizz and i dont know what i would do without the ability to manually choose when i wanted no slip. Viscolock's way of thinking is that you gotta get stuck in order for it to activate. Diff. Lock, i dont have to get stuck first...i plow thru.

I think what makes alot of muddy water holes like this tough is the fact that the large tires offer so much floatation it hard for them to get any bite. I mean watch all the vids and you can see how light they get and can be rocked much more easily than if they were on terra firma. Big tires let you go deeper but then work against you because they want to lift the ATV making it hard for them to dig.

I have had them all! Yamaha is built the best and last the longest. Period. Buddy has a AC and all he has is trouble. I have a 95 big bear and iit is twice the machine of his new AC. But the Griz and my Rhino are just awesome machines. You have to remember, the driver is as much what makes them go as the tires and the actual machine.

Raced a Can Am outlander 800 today on my Polaris Sportsman 800 he got me out of the hole but not for long I got him by about 3 bike lengths.

I like how so many people in here think that if you floor it, it is gonna get you through anything! Well...thats not true, because when your momentum is gone. All that spinning is just gonna make a deeper hole to get stuck in! All the people who I ride with have great throttle control, and for the few who don't are constantly breaking shit and getting stuck! Word of advice. Take it easy on the throttle, and let you tires do the work. Your bike will last longer.

i agree with evrything except for the arctic cat comment i ride an 03 arctic cat 400 and it goes threw stuff like that almost every day and it does fine it has more ground clearence stock than a grizzly 800 i like all three of those atv's and i like the canam the best just dont have the money for an outlander or renegade

No... it all depents on how deep is the actual mud and how much is water on top. In really deep mud, no water, I've seen skinny teen-aged girls on relatively light 400's beat everyone in a mud bog competition. Sometimes light is good because you don't sink down as much. However, when you have a lot of water on top, your quad needs weight to get any traction at all.

@warriorcole4 Yes, but if the Can Am is so much better, rider error would have less effect. I didn't see the Can Am rider riding any worse than the Yamaha rider. All that extra power made no difference here. The Can Am did not come out under it's own power. The Yamaha did get out under it's own power, even if another guy had to get on the front to help hold the front wheels down.

@MrStephan95 i like the grizzly 700, brute 750, and can-am 800 but dollar for dollar the brute is the best choice cause for the price of a used can-am I could buy a used brute with tires, a winch, and skidplates which is needed cause i live in North East, Pennsylvania and its real rocky and we get bad winters but stock for stock all quads are terrible i think if your gonna pay $8000+ for a quad they would atleast throw in tires and a winch.

sounds like ya all need clutch kits..even da grizz 700 even though its an ultramatic they can pull 29.5's stock but it puts the axles in a bind and they break so clutch kits n ape axles bossman

Well the Honda has no power,but don't back down, the grizz is ok but not more then that. I would say Suzuki 750 was the best and then can am, but you have to change the cvs air. But the most power is the can am by fare, so if you want to go fast you choose can am but if you go slow you choose Suzuki.

@MixeTube Wow thats kind of weird because i have a 1986 suzuki 250. Mine has four wheel drive and differential lock and no there is no way you would make it through something that bad. Those bikes are a lot bigger.

From what i can tell is this video the Can't Ams 4WD is NO different from Hondas 4WD..Hondas do lock in sometimes but not all the time but Honda doesn't claim it LOCKS IN...Love the Grizz and Honda..the AC locked in more than more than the Can Am..haha..Can Am=JOKE!!!!! Out of the 3 i'd take them in this order...Grizz, AC and then Can Am..and im not even a AC fan!!
