It's definitely been keeping me on my toes lately. I've narrowed it down to what I believe is a weak battery. Low voltage can definitely do weird things. I charged it up and went for a good 20 mile ride yesterday. I tried to push it to its limits as much as I could. I couldn't even get a hiccup out of it.

Was just saying in your guys last video that these things are great for utvs! Always one in my rudimentary tool kit I ride with. Just curious as to why you wouldn’t just hook the negative clamp to the negative post and not on the frame (which I understand is grounded too)?

I remember our autoshop teacher telling us to use a ground rather than the battery negative post. I don't remember why though. Dave and I were in the same autoshop class so my guess is he learned it there. Maybe he remembers why. Dave? -Joe

Yeah these are awesome to have. As for the ground, that's just the way I was always taught to jump start a vehicle. We were always told it lessens the chance of a battery exploding if the dead battery is off gassing. I've never seen that happen, but I suppose it has in the past. It also provides a more direct path to ground instead of traveling through the dead battery. How much any of that really matters I don't know. That's also how the directions say to use the jump pack. could you explain what limp mode is? Am looking at a canam to buy.

It’s basically the computer system that shuts down the machine or puts it in a mode to limp home if it detects a problem in the motor or other components. It makes sure you don’t do further damage. -Garrett

Limp mode, seat belt bypass maybe?

It was the throttle body position sensor. Had to replace the throttle body
