I just bought the 2021 outlander max 450 with dps last weekend! They are hard to find right now in Maine. Fun as hell so far. Super stable with my daughter on the back too (main reason I bought the 2up version). Cheers everyone.

I just got mine aswell. Only complaint I have is the tin can sound at startup , the clutch noise through out the ride and that shifter can put up a fight sometimes. Other than that I've had 4+ hr rides nonstop and they were a blast.

Which dealership in Maine did you buy from? Is the 450 enough for trail riding with someone on the back?

You outlander looks amazing and fun. What size of wheels and tires do you have? Do you have the stock suspension? Thank you!
@azzig3114 жыл бұрын
It is stock suspension. Tire sizes are 25x10x12 on the rear and 25x8x12 on the front.

How do you like it so far? I'm down to this or the 570 Max, about a $700 difference here in Canada.

I am thinking about getting one of these on this week. I put some trails in my backyard and just need something to keep my trails maintained. I think this would be perfect. If you don't mind looking at my backyard trail video and letting me know if this would be a good choice I have no nothing about 4 wheelers Bought a used one about a month ago and starting to have problems so now I want a new one. Don't want to have to fix on it.

Love it! The 450 is plenty for me, the weight to power is great and will go anywhere off road.
@dann95654 жыл бұрын
I like the 450 can am more than the 500 Polaris I had in 2015. More power . The dealer network is better . I am in Canada too.

Does yours get hot ? And why is it hard to switch to H/L after being on R ?
@azzig3114 жыл бұрын
Haven't noticed it getting hot, but yes, the gears are difficult sometimes. I have asked about this when getting it serviced and they have said it's just the way it is.
@tollav4 жыл бұрын
The trick to the gears is to come to a complete stop and let off all brakes then rock it back and forth once or twice. The gears have to mesh right to go into different directions. Looks dumb but works every time

When I change gears it gets stuck sometimes do u know why?
@itsvik79653 жыл бұрын
Yeah happens the same to me in my 570 2020. I really don’t know why but for mine it only gets sometimes stuck in park. What I do is to gently shake it back and forward w my body and that’s it.
