I just purchased a 2021 650 Max XT. Me and my wife LOVE IT! It’s VERY SMOOTH and the power is GOOD! I had a 570 before it. I saw another guy on KZbin get it to 72 mph.

That’s awesome! I’m sure the 2021 rides even better that mine. They are super comfortable for 2 people and surprisingly quick.

I have a 2021 650XT and I love it! For the rear box rattle I removed it and used some adhesive weatherstripping on the bottom at the back and solved this annoying noise. Good vid!

I’ve got a 2020 650 Max XT. Beautiful machine! Absolutely love it! They make a 850 and 1000, but I find it completely unnecessary.

I have both a 650 (2012) and a 850 (2019), both XT Max units. There is a BIG difference in power between the two! The 850 is just a beast….I cant imagine what the 1000 is like. I agree, for the average rider and usage, the 650 is more than enough power to do just about anything. I have never been in any situation that the 650 was underpowered for. My uncle has a 500 XT Max (2012 also) and I find his to be fine on power. I rode a 400 years ago and that thing was pitiful. The 650 and 850 are great machines and I don’t see myself buying anything other than the Can Am.
@longboardguy3 жыл бұрын
@@talonpilot you would be surprised in that also then. There is not a large difference between the 850 and 1000. Not as much as you think. The 850 on an atv is all anyone would ever need. I think save the 1000cc for the side by sides

They're nice machines. However I still think I prefer to drive polaris. But that seems to be a well taken care of machine. Like you I think I would scrap that box though it just makes too much noise for my liking.

If your warranty has run out, then you can reprogram the key. That machine can easily go much faster (80-90 at least). The Secret is in the programming of the key. However potential top end is governed. You remove governed by programing the key. If you do this it may void your Warranty, that's why you need to wait until after warranty time expires, but you can use machines full potential.

It's funny I'm bouncing back and forth between the 650 and the 450. Big difference, I know but all that extra power and weight for what ? But I like the 650 speed and smoothness. IDK what to do . 450 is plenty of power for most stuff I think . I'm not mudding just hunting .
@rockspowersports3 жыл бұрын
@Mark Bow If your just using it for hunting then I’m sure the 450 would be fine for you. If your planning on trail riding and like to get up to speed quickly the 650 is the better choice. There is a very big difference in price, so if you don’t really need the power you would save yourself a lot of money..

I'm not sure if you have looked into all the newer 4 wheelers or not. But if you have, what do you believe would be the better option out of the Polaris Sportsman 570 (Trail or Ultimate Trail) or the Can AM Mossy Oak (570 or 650)?
@rockspowersports3 жыл бұрын
It really comes down to personal preference. The Polaris sportsman and can am outlander are both great machines. The sportsman 570 engine has great low end power but lacks some when you get up to higher speeds. The can am 650 has great mid to high power. They both ride excellent on the trail. When servicing or repairing either on of these Polaris is usually cheaper for repair parts. If you have the option to around you I would go to the dealer and check them both out and see if you can do a test drive.

I’ve had problems with Polaris and never like working on them gone through belts like crazy don’t recommend Polaris. Go with a can am there warranty is way better easier to work on and can am doesn’t have a tractor shifter

Trying to decide on the can am 650, 850 or yamaha grizzly
@rockspowersports3 жыл бұрын
@Tom Cat If your looking at a true touring machine for 2 people, I would go with the can am outlander max. If not then either one is a good machine the grizzlys tend to be very reliable machines and they are fun to play around with because they are much lighter. The can am will have a smoother ride and more power than the grizzly.
@tomcat69333 жыл бұрын
@@rockspowersports sounds like the smooth ride of the 650 max is more important. Thanks for the video and responding. As i get older I have given up on dirt bikes. I just sold my beta 300rr.

Looking for a good ATV for just riding and also maintaining food plots. What’s your take on this?
@rockspowersports2 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of good machines out there. If your mainly using it for trail riding and taking care of your food plots I’d recommend at least a 500cc engine fuel injection is very nice and independent rear suspension will ride nice. If your looking at something like this can am outlander 650 it would be a great machine, plenty of power and rides excellent.
