I just changed the filter to a K&N yesterday on my 2016 RT Limited with only 8997 miles, took 20 minutes from removing the mirror to putting the mirror back on, easy if you know how to remove the body panels, took it out for a ride and could tell the difference with better throttle response.

+David Williams the F3 is very easy and that is what I noticed with my other spiders...better throttle response

I always liked K&N’s stuff. Definitely a plus being able to wash them. Any noticeable meat behind the throttle now?

+The Gimpy Garage I hope to ride in the next day or so to see if I feel any difference..if not all good its the last filter I will have to buy!

Off topic question. I have a 2015 F3 Se6 with 6000 miles on it. After rides, I smell like exhaust. I read the forums and it’s somewhat common. Any advise to get rid of the smell? Ever had this issue with your bikes?

Hey Greatrydes... Good video did you use the K&N recharge kit when you put the K&N filter in?? All other filters require a light layer of the spray oil on them. Thanks Again :)

No this one was pre oiled out of the box. I will clean and oil once a year or as needed. Thank you for watching.

Can do!

I notice you didn't use the K&N pre-oiling?
@spyderryder6 жыл бұрын
I just use the K&N as is out of the box pre oiled. When I replaced to oem filter at 42,000 miles it was not dirty So if the factory filter can do 42,000 miles I don't see why the K&N should with out to much much issues go a whole riding season.
