with the spyders it's always taking off the body panels that takes the most time. Looks good though.

Another great video Beth! A tip for the future. When installing anything with electrical connections, use a little dielectric grease on the connectors. It acts as a lubricant for the connectors and prevents water intrusion into the connector/wiring. As the name implies it is an excellent conductor of electricity so no worries there. It is way cheap at your local parts store. A tube will last a lifetime.

Another good video Beth, push pin tool can be found in any auto parts store and always put a towel when you're working on the bike to prevent scratches anyway a big thumbs up.

Nice video! I had the same OMG face the first time I pulled off panel #1. May I suggest to all that if you are going to add multi-colored LEDs to your machine then run them through a power switch. Retired LEO here and many would be surprised at vehicle light color restrictions. Having them switched will prevent you from cruising down the road wondering why everyone keeps pulling over and getting out of your way.🤣😂😆🚔🚒🚑 Hopefully living the Florida life by next year so I don't have to wear shoes too.

These lights have an option to strobe or just stay solid on one color. Yup, in Fl wearing shoes is frowned upon. Lol

Hi, I love your videos and was wondering if you would be willing to do one about how safe these are? I'm desperately wanting one but my spouse says no because of safety concerns. I think hearing how safe they are might make them feel better. If you already have that video I apologize for over looking it.
@RykerRydes2 жыл бұрын
Hi Timothy. I can't do an official video stating how safe the Can-ams are.....I would get sued if anyone got a fender bender lol. In comparison to a 2 wheel bike, yes these are more stable, have a low center of gravity, won't tip, can't "drop" the bike, have more visibility on the road .....BUT you are still exposed. There is nothing around you to protect you if a car hit you at 80 mph. You'll hit the ground just has hard. I waited until my son was in HS before I started riding again. So yes Can am are "safer" but still not nearly as safe as a car. Not sure I am helping your case, just trying to be honest. Good luck with your decision.

Beth is that a furry little mouse you have down your blouse 🐭. You’re getting good at taking these panels off I broke one of mine 🤷🏻♂️
@RykerRydes2 жыл бұрын
LOL the "mouse" down my blouse is actually called a "dead cat'. It is a wind buffer for my mic. And yes those panels can be tricky. I was so stressed, specially because the bike was not mine. Thanks for watching!!

I would never install it unless my ryker was white. Not sure why it couldn't match the piece of plastic it is stuck to.

@@RykerRydes whether on the ryker or not the led strip is the same. It is white. The plastics on the ryker are usually black. Do they offer any strips in black?

Hi does adding any of these light mods void the warranty on the bike ? i watch shawn smoaks videos and i always hear him cast a bad light on after market electronics .just curios i ordered a 2022 rtl for this year and would like to add some light mods but not at the expense of warranty..
@RykerRydes2 жыл бұрын
ALWAYS check with your dealership in regards to your warranty. But, no, the lights will not void your warranty. As far as electronics on your bike, these are low voltage LED lights that plug directly into your accessory port. You will run into trouble when adding speakers, when not done correctly. I have had the halo eye and halo skid on my bike for a LOOOOONG time and never once had a problem!
