When we had a travel trailer with a TV antenna that you had to crank the antenna up and down. So, I did not forget to lower the antenna. I would put a clothes pen on the truck somewhere so I would remember to lower the antenna. You might try something like that for your battery tender. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and experience.

How is the ABS braking doing? One thought that I had for cleaning the under carriage was a spray adapter that sprays up, like a concrete cleaner that is used with a pressure washer. I have seen these used to clean under trucks.

Braking seems to be working fine. That idea for an undercarriage cleaner is something I need to look at.

"From December 1 to March 15 inclusive, all motorized road vehicles registered in Québec (other than heavy vehicles, tool vehicles and farm machinery) must be equipped with winter tires. This requirement also applies to rental passenger vehicles in Québec, as well as mopeds, motorized scooters and motorcycles." This comes directly from our provincial government agency website. So, yes, you can ride your Spyder during winter, but you need winter tires. If I did ride my Spyder during winter, I would definitely get a good set of car winter tires. But, we get a lot more snow here than you do in Niagara Falls NY, so I simply store my Spyder away for the winter and wait for March 15th when the tire restriction ends. I am looking forward to your winter riding review, specifically what how have the cold temperatures and the road salt affected or not your Spyder. Good vlog Chris!

Thanks again for the clarification on the provincial rules. I would definitely not be doing this if we got as much as you do, but we’ll see how this first full winter goes.

You 're right, we can't ride in spyder on winter time in Québec. It would be very high risk. Waiting to onstore the bike, I appreciate à lot yours vidéos and comments. For me it's like some virtuals rides. Friendly from Trois-Rivieres, Québec.

Good luck with all of this, my friend! Again, get under armor for your non-armored gear - you could slip and fall and get hurt. I'd be concerned with your back tire getting traction on roads since your wheel is spinning in uncleared areas.

i admire you for riding in this. I have a Honda Goldwing trike and would not try it. I still love my 4x4 pickup

And the 4x4 pickup has heat!

Try putting it in eco mode in the snow, it will reduce the throttle response. Hope it helps

Good luck this winter! Someday you may want to re-consider not having a cheap winter vehicle where you choose to live! Be careful!

I admire this video, I am considering buying a Can Am RT and this Show's me how far you can push the vehicle. I was wondering how it would handle in the snow. I live here in Brooklyn and the last few winters have not been to bad as far as the snow goes. In the same conditions you are riding in the video I also would not have to much of an issue going a short distance. Of course the fish tailing is a concern, as some other commenters stated I would not promote riding in such weather, but I am glad you should what the Spyder is capable of handling. SUB! And drive safe brother!

Unfortunately there aren’t such tires available, as far as I know. But my tire is pretty new.

I caution against riding any 2 or 3 wheel vehicles in anything other than 3 season conditions. 1) Visibility-the other guy. 2) These vehicles/tires weren’t designed for snowy weather. No one can predict where the ice patches might be. 3) Most people aren’t expecting a 2/3 wheel motorcycle to be on the road in the winter, any more than a boater would expect a snowmobile to be on the lake in the summer even though it can and has been done. Careful man…
