That would make sense to have a manual inflation valve. My old 1972 Volvo had air shocks. Easy enough to inflate of deflate manually.

It was great to see another video of you both. So glad Tommy G has a new bike! If my RT has a shraeder valve, I do not know where it is. Hopefully my pump and airbag will keep working. That must have been a rough ride for poor Tommy. The road near your house looks pretty rough, much less a trip back from Ohio. The wife and I are planning a 2-up ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway but only covering the NC part over 3 days. We are planning hikes and "touristy things" around blowing rock. We will try to swing by Maggie valley on the way back if it turns out you will be there.

My 2023 F3T has the Schrader valve but I do have to adjust the air pressure manually 😅 I guess sometimes less is more.

Well, shouldn't have been an issue as we, along with our light cargo, were well within the weight guidelines...439#...439 minus our weight is 79#...we were only gone one night so we packed lightly, not even rain gear...🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Make sure you don’t use an air compressor on that shock, I bought a Fox shock pump with zero loss for my wife’s F3T. Air compressor will blow that bag out. Nice Road glide Tommy G!

For some reason it will not let me add a link to one here. Look up zero loss shock pump and you will find all kinds. The zero loss means you don’t lose any air pressure while removing the pump from the valve.

You can set it to the desired PSI... We also have a teeny tiny one that we use for our air mattresses... I don't know if our shock pump is zero loss or not. I will be discussing this with Tommy G... As for the protection of the exposed Air Bag, I just had a thought pop into my head, I’m pretty sure it didn’t come from mY mind. 😅. My, first thought was a piece of screen, like from a window or door screen, wrap around bag, then glue it or zip ties. Then, I thought, a piece of canvas, like from an old duffle bag, zip ties. I think, both would work. They both would collapse and expand as needed. Well these ideas should give some perspective, to start on real solutions. 🕷️🕸️😎🇺🇸💜💜💜💙💙.

My trike has that Same problem. But it is the sensor not the airbag and it is going in for its first service at 4,530 kilometres that is about 2,831 miles and going for a ride on Saturday around 5 hundred kilometres i will send you and TommyG some photos have a wonderful weekend and keep it on to wheels but in your case on three. 😅😅😅

You know how i told you it was a sensor because that was what i was told it was the airconpresser motor had died so i have to wait until the 8 of October to get it fixed not happy. But i still went for my ride that was 516 kilometres long what is my longest ride i have ever done 7 hours and 15 minutes had a great time.
