I now own a 2024 Can Am Spyder F3 Limited. I thought I wanted a Harley so I went to the Dealership and tried a new Harley trike. It felt to me like driving a big red three wheeler. I felt totally uncomfortable in the corners. Like it was trying to push over diagonally. I decided then because of health issues that I would never be able to ride again. I started looking into the spiders. Last week I was researching them online. The next day I seemed to see them everywhere. I pulled into the grocery store and one pulled up beside me. I started talking to him about if it was anything like driving a Snowmobile. He was from Canada and owned snowmobiles too. He assured me it was almost the same feel. It was settled the next day I went out and bought one. It is GREAT. For the record I grew up in Maine with Snowmobiles. Keep up the great videos.

Only on a bike twice in my life and both rides as a passenger. That was as a teen. Been wanting a cycle of my own all my life. Finally decided I was going to make it happen. Thought Harley was it, then started looking at 3 wheel bikes. May 02, '24, after researching a very little bit and watching a couple of your videos. 64 y/o June 28, and I couldn't be happier at this point! Yeah, multiple health problems too, but my wife trusts me on this bike. We plan Sunday A M drives and just feel so exillerated that when we get home we start talking about the next ride. I call her my biker chick! I am very confident that she is safe AND she is talking about a separate ride for herself. It's awesome fun and tension release! Thanks for Your videos!!! Ride Blessed!

Agree with the comfort points. Just traded my 2013 Harley Ultra Classic for a 2023 Spyder RT Limited. Perfect for commuting, but where I really find the difference is when I’m riding with my wife as a passenger. I’m not as tired after a long day trip on the Spyder as I would be with the Ultra. I love not having to balance when coming to a stop and even as I’m riding, it’s just so much easier to control. Again, it is simply so much more comfortable. I do love the smoothness and performance of the 1330 Rotax engine.

Same Spyder. Bought it brand new. Only have 55,000 miles to date. Covid and other situations prevented doing more riding. Did do a xctry from Las Vegas to Florida one year. Had a perplexing recent issue where it would shift on its own to a lower gear and at stoplights it would go into neutral and would not shift into gear. No codes were showing any faults. Finally after 3 months the dealer and I narrowed it down to s short in the gear selection system. After replacing the gear position sensor( no help) then finally replaced the left handle bar gear selector assembly. No problems since then. I've recently installed the Pedal Commander and what a difference it has made. The fun is back! Anyway safe riding!!

If I get confident enough I will go again on 3. I weigh 300 lbs and am 68 yrs old so pushing a 2 wheeler around anymore and balance problems actually helped me go for 3. I has a 2018 RTL and put 10k miles on it. Can Am was years behind on technology (I'm sure they've caught up by now). There were several reasons I purchased a Goldwing DCT with a Motor Trike Conversion. Got significantly more power, equally as comfortable a ride as the Can Am, modern world technology, no need for premium gas, no replacing the rear tire every 10K miles, and more, but I'll stop with that. I wouldn't trade back.

So I'm not as safe, especially at low speeds as i used to be. I've thought about 3 wheels but i really just didn't like the idea of the TriGlide. Hallo…

Hello! Thanks for the comment. I have a friend who rides with his wife and a sidecar, or did. She has found that the RT is much more comfortable than the sidecar ride for sure. And, when you add custom arm bars to the passenger area, it's even more comfortable. Also, per your comment about centrifugal force when cornering, I am betting that putting a more firm sway bar in like the baja ron sway bar, would help that feel even better and corner better too. Ride safe over there!

@@RideBlessed we bought the Sea 2 Sky because the seat was much more comfortable, we liked the green with gold wheels and I knew the price of Spyders was going up, so the value was there. Dealer was only alloted 2 that year so the 21's are scarce. Since have added movable handlebars, vents, aftermarket backrest and armrests. Covered sidepanels in clear plastic to protect from foot scuffing and covered center console with protector covering to keep from scratching as we ride 2 up a lot. The lighted floorboards were pricey but increases bike visability, Main thing is she is paid for. Still going to change out to a Baha tie rod and and more led lights to back. The downer for me is wheel alignment. None of the dealers near me do it.

Nice video. Comfort is #1. Oh yeah, having a trailer is kinda a necessity. Even if you don’t travel much, it can be used to go make groceries and hauling other stuff around for just you.
