Rick do yourself a favour and get threaded rod that is the same diameter and pitch as the clutch bolt. Then you can keep the clutch on the machine and remove the cover there.

You mentioned in the video that you have launch control on a smart shock car. Did you have to have the computer cracked? I have a '21 late year smart shock car that I would like to add the launch control to, but I was under the impression that I have to have the ECU cracked. Thanks.

what happens is the rearend is spining slower then the front and with the front spinning faster on the water when it hit land the torq difference she didn't like and el cracko

Could have been a defect in the case of your front diff, you might have hit a rock or something to cause it to fracture and then the tires broke it the rest of the way.

it really shudnt bind up much if at all in the sand , on pavement or hard pack i cud see but i think you just got a faulty diff imo. some burgs and a beer youll be alright RR baybeeee

Check the thread depth of that blind hole that the crack went through. You may have initiated a crack there by over tightening that bolt. Or maybe you just sent her a bit too hard.

I never tightened any of those bolts, only the mounting bolts to the frame on the bottom of the diff

You're probly on to something with the mismatched tire sizes, but you'd think it'd destroy the internals first.
