Hey I had a question: does Mario use items? if not, would that even be possible? not that it would give him much of a tactical advantage, but I imagine the CPU would at least slip on his bananas. Saying that, I wonder how he would go about using Mushrooms... Anyway great video!

Thank you! I did not end up having him use items. Mushrooms would have messed up his trajectory too much. I had the ability to read the item slot but it would have meant he could only use offensive items and if he received a mushroom, he'd just have to hold it forever.

In your Mario video you gave 0 details of the actual AI and just showed some of the training without any commentary. In this video you show some details of the AI but it's just you drawing a path for it to follow. Not much AI in there.
