Can ANY Boss Survive the Spooky Scary Army of Darkness? - Elden Ring

In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the main bosses can survive an army of scary cemetery shades. To make this match more even I've removed poise from both the shades and the bosses and disabled both grabs.

Placidusax was specially pissed off on this fight, he never charges at you on the beginning. He did here and after that we went heavy guns out. He decimated them without any consideration.

I think he does if the first thing you do as you enter the arena is summon. Most bosses change their behavior to "aoe focus" if you have more than one person in the arena. Just notice how all Mohg did was the weapon art. Elden Beast started with the Holy Breath, Placidusax dashed to close then used the Nuke as his second attack, Fortissax used the lightning and the fire breath in sequence. It's somewhat scripted. Edit: don't quote me on this though, it's just what I noticed on my first run. In my second, I barely used summons and the bosses behaved quite differently, but that's my entire sample size.

Morgott is such a fantastic boss with epic moves but has very little health. I would say the same is true for Godfrey and Radagon. But, those two make it up by being hyper aggressive and not to mention the lurking threat of high health Elden Beast.

It was neat seeing that horde form one gigantic shadowy streak across the Mountaintops of the Giants. Also, thanks for including Fortissax in this, he seems to be an often forgotten Remembrance boss in mod videos. Speaking of which, his lightning storm only hit a single shade once, and his flying fire barely touched any when they were standing still in the perfect spot -- and they were hardly hurt to boot. Man those ancient dragons stink.

What's wild is I think they actually would have had a chance against Malenia if she didn't open her 2nd phase with Scarlet Aeonia. They're really aggressive and could've potentially blitzed her down before she got the chance to use her big moves.

You know what would be a great battle? Having the demigods and their respective armies, like Radahn and the Redmanes vs Morgott and the Leyndell Guard

The unfortunate thing about Fortissax in these videos is that the main reason behind his difficulty is something that most enemies are immune to: Deathblight. That original barrage of lightning leaves pools of blight all over the arena, so a player has to be careful not to stand in one of them for too long, or go through too many in a row, lest they die to the Blight. This is where the real challenge comes from; Fortissax himself doesn't actually pose that much of a threat otherwise. It's all about watching where you're stepping/standing while _also_ managing to fight a huge dragon. But every boss, and all 'regular' enemies are all completely immune to it - only Tarnished can be affected by the Blight (and there are probably some interesting lore implications to that, honestly). So basically the only match-up where Fortissax's strongest ability actually works is versus Invaders.

The Radahn fight really shows the weakness in NPCS like this against others. Most have no real survival instinct so when they bunch up into a group in front of a bigger enemies big attack it leads to the whole group dying at once. Makes me wonder sometimes how some would be if their whole script wasn't constant running forward and aggression. lol
