If Duke had Auburn's resume right now, AP voters and bracketologists would be saying they could lose both games this week and easily still the top overall seed and probably get enough votes to hold #1 in the AP. The double standard and bias for teams like Duke blatant. Which I get it. Tradition is tradition. But AU's current resume is on a higher level than every other team. A much higher level in just about every case. Just my obviously biased opinion as an Auburn fan. But the numbers back up my bias right now.

It's late January and we still don't know our offensive identity, so we will continue to struggle. I’m an AU fan and I’ve said all year Bama is the 2nd best team in the league. Super high ceiling. What separates AU from Bama is the floor. If Bama isn’t shooting it well they don’t have the defense to bail them out. That said, when Bama is shooting it well, they are nearly unbeatable. I fully expect to split w Bama this year.

the important thing is that duke gets the EAST number one seed so they can play first/second round in raleigh nc and second/third in newark nj which will also have a lot of duke fans
