Have you not noticed how fast this world is going and how crazy the world is going.Don't you think that would affect every one of us on this earth. I think that's a contributing factor to anyone with AD.H.D. we weren't made to go through life with stress put on us. We weren't created to be always going going

Yes, I've written about some of those factors of modern life contributing to ADHD symptoms. It's the whole last 1/3 of my book, and the entirety of the book I'm currently working on. I also talk about it in several of my videos. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpatZ6Ksa96mfM0

So if it was shown on a neuropsych battery that there were deficit in attention, working memory, and executive function that would be secondary ADHD?
@DrJohnKruse2 ай бұрын
The neuropsych battery would just indicate the symptoms exist now, but without a previous test, or a really clear history, with lots of corroboration, we wouldn't know if those are long term symptoms or just arose.

I am 69. I had a stroke, bleeding to the right parietal of the brain in 2007, 17vyesrs ago. It paralyzed my left side. My IQ at the time was 157, as measured by Unilever, my last employer. Although paralyzed, my sense of intuition, perception, and general intellect inexplicably seem to have increased quite dramatically. How can this be explained?

Neuroplasticity is a hell of a thing! There's cases of people having savantism after head injury like sudden ability to learn languages or instruments
@DrJohnKruse6 ай бұрын
@@transkryption that's the general answer I would have provided. Plus, it matters a lot which locations have been damaged and what is remaining that might be able to expand and partially compensate.
