Can BTD1 Towers Beat BTD5

Today I'm finally getting around to a Bloons TD5 challenge that I've wanted to try for over a month. The thing that was stopping me before was the simple fact, well, it seems impossible. To beat this game only using towers and upgrades from the first cannot be done without some sort of assistance. BTD1 doesn’t have camo bloons, so none of the towers in that game can detect them. Additionally, there a myraid of stronger bloons, all the way up to the ZOMG, which also didn’t exist back then. But, with the help of a radar scanner, could it be possible after all? Let's find out together!

Do btd3 towers in btd5 I’m researching both games to see what upgrades you can buy. Edited: btd3 towers include bomb shooter, boomerang monkey, ice monkey or ice ball, dart monkey, Spike-O-pult (third upgrade for dart monkey), super monkey, tack shooter, and village/monkey beacon Upgrades you can only get: Dart monkey: long range darts, razor darts (2-2 upgrades) Boomerang: Glaive thrower, multi-target and sonic boom and thermite (red hot rangs) (2-2 upgrades) Tack shooter: faster shooting, blade shooter, and long range and even longer range (2-2 upgrades) Super monkey: Super range, epic range and Laser vision, plasma vision (2-2 upgrades) Ice ball: wider freeze radius, snap freeze and longer freeze, permafrost (2-2 upgrades) Bomb shooter: bigger bombs, frag bombs and extra range bombs, missile launcher. (2-2 upgrades) Spike-o-pult: I’m just going to count the spike-o-pilot as a 3-2 and 4-2 dart monkey, ok? Support: Monkey beacon/village: stronger signal, jungle drums. (2-0) The only problem you might have is getting tons of money for super monkeys but it’s fine Rule: You are only allowed one camo village.

Without the dart specialty building, having ice for round 76 is worst because the bloons would be able to regrow while frozen since nothing but bombs can pop them.

Pretty much anything that completely stops bloons from moving doesn't allow regrow to happen until the effect wears off

@@Phenomix btd5 ice has infinite pierce so more ice monkeys was making the darts and tacks weaker and that is why 63 was getting worse when you placed more ice monkeys

Can you now try it with every other btd games (apart from btd 6 obviously) towers and upgrades? Btd 2 super monkey gets laser blasts so maybe that'll be enough for round 76 and road spikes exist there so you won't have to sell as much

Monkey Village didn’t exits in btd1. My highest wave with my lab upgrades and game passes is 65 ( almost beating medium mode). I used super monkeys for some reason. I will shoutout you for the video that I did

I'm confused why you never tried to get more bombs? Your problem was lack of pierce and it's got like, 20 time the pierce of a 1-1 dart monkey. Like, you can't rely on them exclusively because black and zebra bloons but it's weird you never tried to make a bunch of them.

Does a bomb really have 40 pierce as a 1-1? I seriously had no idea it was that strong if that's the case, I didn't use it because I assumed it fires too slowly and does too little damage to be worth using

@@Phenomix At least that's what I found on the wiki yes, but yeah doing aoe damage is kinda the whole point of bombs normally lol so if you are struggling with big clumps it's the perfect tower. Especially with the ice monkey they're kinda natural allies (which is why the zebra exists in the first place). In challenges like that you need to challenge your assumptions =p you can't say you've tried everything if you neglected an entire tower

Just upgrade the Dart Monkey building to full, spam the shit out of Dart Monkeys, and upgrade them all to Super Monkey Fan Club tier. With a fully-upgraded building, Dart Monkeys gain explosive darts, and their second range upgrade gives them camo detection by default.
