Jayden Daniels has the highest EPA per dropback pass (which discounts all quarterback runs) of any quarterback and leads the NFL in completion percentage. His dropback EPA per play is more than 5x higher than Caleb’s. Jayden also has 87 more passing yards in 33 fewer attempts and passes the eye test with flying colors. Implying that he is incapable of finding success by throwing the ball is not supported by any metric or the eye test.

@@hostilenvironment This is a RG3/Luck situation, where Washington dumbed down the playcalling to give RG3 a fast start, while Luck struggled at the beginning to grasp a real NFL offense. And we see who turned out to be the better QB. Same thing with Caleb and JD... JD running a gimmicky air raid high school offense and beating winless teams, while Caleb is learning a complex NFL scheme. JD is a running back.

Jayden is significantly better than RGIII. Jayden is also 7th in air yards per attempt, while Caleb is 32nd, which means Jayden is throwing the ball down the field more than Caleb. Caleb has also thrown more screen passes than Jayden. Caleb is going to be awesome, I have him as a top-five quarterback potentially by the end of next year. But Jayden is much more than a “running back.” And as far as teams they’ve beaten, Caleb is yet to beat a team with more than one win. They play each other in two weeks and it’ll be fun to watch!

@@hostilenvironment Caleb been better QB than JD for 3 straight weeks now. Caleb was the highest graded PFF QB this week out of everyone. Caleb with two 300 yard passing games and 9 TDs his last 4 weeks.... JD with 355 rushing yards. dude is a great running back.

@@hostilenvironment JD is really bad when throwing the middle of the field and the left side. He throws 90% of his passes to the right side. They cut off half the field for him beause he's not a real QB. Caleb is a real NFL QB running a real NFL offense, not the high school shit that JD is running. They're playing different sports right now.
