Since it was my first bike i’ve only done small maintenance 1 time. changing oil and brake pads by myself. eventually the clutch cable broke and after repairing later on the choke cable broke. Not hard to fix but man it had rusty bolds. Eventually changed it to my now bike. Still regret selling it

That is true. With my R3 I can just fully open the throttle and know my rear won’t slip or my front won’t lift. It’s extremely forgiving all around and the lightweight makes it feel like you’re moving a bicycle in the parking lot. I’m getting an R1 this weekend tho so will see if it’s “better”. But I can 100% see why people would prefer the smaller CCs

Solid bike. Make sure you get one that hasn't hit the ground hard enough to tweak the frame. And always get a pre inspection on a bike before you buy if its your first, a good tech can tell you what's wrong, and that will go a long way in deciding if the bikes right for you. And if you're a serious buyer with cash in hand, most sellers I've dealt with haven't had any issue with it, it's the ones that did that threw up red flags for me.
