I made a crude joke about jehoshephat. He is part of Jesus's lineage. But, I wasn't in my right mind. I wasn't thinking correctly because of illness and medicine and everything. Excellent explanation. There no one sin that is unpardonable, it the repeated rejection of Holy Spirit and the subsequent hardening of the heart. It not that God won't pardon it's the individual who has reached the point where they totally reject God.

We have Jesus's righteousness. Paul writes in Philippians. That it not only has it been granted to us on behalf of Christ to believe in Him but also to suffer for Him. We will have bad days . Where we feel like we have failed . But there is nothing we can do to make God love us. He loves us unconditionally. You are loved at all times my brother.

I am scared because last night i had read Matthew 12:31-32 and after when i fell for sleep my mind started to think negatively and I couldn't control it and for one point for no reason it blasphemed the holy spirit and i didn't mean it nor want it because i love god. I was born into the Pentecostal church and was also baptized when I was 9 years old. Growing up I went to church every Sunday and almost every bible study on Wednesday nights and even participated in ministry work. When I graduated high school and went off to college, I started hanging out with the wrong crowd and doing things that were not of the Holy Spirit. I was going down the wrong path for 3 years and just recently got my life back on track. I know God hasn't forgotten about me because he has given me warning after warning after warning and I wouldn't take heed at first. But, about two weeks ago something really bad happened to me where I could have died and I felt like that was my last warning from God before destruction. After watching this video I am at peace with myself now because I found myself randomly speaking profanity against God after getting back on the right track and I don't know why but this bothers me I wholeheartedly desire to follow his word and I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. This is not the first time I spoke profanity against God. I feel like God won't forgive me for these reoccurring thoughts but they just come out of no where! When I tried to get my life together and follow Christ again a year ago the same thing happened. I gave my life back to Christ and it seems to me that the devil is trying his best to corrupt my mind, my thoughts, and my spirit and I know that he wants my soul because he sees that I am no longer participating in worldly things and that God is turning my life back around. I have been praying and praying and asking God to forgive me every time I think such thoughts and that the devil will flea from me and my thoughts! I have not hardened myself to God and have even become more humble this time around trying my best to go deeper in word and be filled with his spirit! I love God and for those who believe in him and not here to judge, please pray for me! Advice is also welcomed! Thank you!

As long as your heart is pure then don't stress about it. Just think about something positive when those thoughts come to mind. Wow you made more sense than any Pastor or Treacher i been searching and was scared.Not because i ever did that i know of.But when i was in deep depression i had passing thoughts and was so diatraught from losing family 6 in 6 months and end up having a heart attack from all the pain i felt that i rebeled and wuit praying.I felt defeated.I wondered what i did to cause such sorrow.Then i wondeted if i committed the unforgivable sin and was too depressed to remember.I was losing my mind.But your take on it restores my faith.When a person is suffering all we feel is darkness.Not because we want to as some say, our heart is shattered beyond repair.The dark feeling overwhelms us.We have no break in between.Bad things keep rolling in and it feels like you had been overtaken.I just found out my nephew is brain dead.They are pulling the plug today.In May it will be a year of pure sorrow i had been through and 90% of the loved ones that died are my close family.I needed a lift and you gave it.

It is possible for Christians to commit this sin. People need to start being in the presence of the Holy Spirit and girding up their sword. Read the Bible. Sit with God. Love him with everything you are. The enemy is out to kill, steal, and destroy. Love Jesus and do good, and turn from hypocrisy.

I committed the blasphemy against the holy spirit in my mind. Before that horrible thoughts plagued me day and night after they still plague me. They are like whispers of evil in my own audible voice. 20 years ago I was baptized in water and told I received the baptism of the holy spirit. I cursed the confusion in my head one day by myself 20 years ago. The voices stopped and believing I was damned I left the church after words. I lived 20 years doing horrible things instead of glorifying christ. Only recently after taking to my husband and telling him everything did he encourage me that I could be like the prodigal son. So I went back to church recommitted my life and horrible thoughts raced my mind about the holy spirit. One night I committed the verbal blasphemy in my mind. Instantly my heart broke I was hospitalized. The thoughts still come back like evil whispers when I wake up or any time of day that demands attention. I've tried to tell people I'm dying now which I am I know that I am. But good hearted that they are they don't believe me. I've accepted my punishment it's what I deserve it is just.

I have done this. I had blasphemous thoughts before but it wasn't the unforgivable sin. I spoke badly against my parent, she was being used by God to show me He still loved me. I thought God hated me but no. What happened next was I felt numb and okay. But God withdrew His love. Everyone around me who loves me stopped. I think I am abandoned now.

I like this pastor in this video, but I want to respond to him. Concerning the individual who had a fear of criticizing other evangelist, having a fear of committing the unforgivable sin, he cannot do so, that is because the unforgivable sin was only connected to the time that Jesus was doing his miracles on earth in the flesh the Pharisees saw everything and with complete evidence, knowing that Christ was the anointed son of God, they blasphemed his power, and that power was the holy spirit what they did was unforgivable because they knew that Christ was anointed. Yet they still blasphemed him and the Holy Spirit. the exact conditions for that to happen do not exist today.

There is an unforgivable sin, but it isn't committed out of weakness. It comes from a person who has deliberately chosen to reject God. The gospel of Mark says "Jesus said this because they were saying He has an unclean spirit'." (NIV) Those parishes were attri buying the work of the Spirit to the devil after seeing the Truth.

The latest research has confirmed that it is NO LONGER POSSIBLE TO COMMIT THIS SIN. In fact, it appears to have been added by a monk, who, in a fit of rage, added this to entrap future generations. A new council predating Vatican III (not yet occurred, but will soon) has voted that this sin is no longer in effect and has given a dispensation to all the faithful. Any who have committed this sin prior to this point are forgiven, provided they make their confession openly and honestly. The council will furthermore guarantee that the beloved has mercies unfolding in heaven that will pull him upwards beyond reproach. In summary, any preacher saying that you can commit this sin is correct, but only in the context of the Old Adam. So rejoice and be glad, and don't worry about what falls from your lips or mind. God has forgiven you beforehand, and the Holy Spirit has matured since Christ's time.

I have knowingly rejected and spoken against Christ, God, and the entire spirit of Christianity. I assume that that would fall under the idea of “blast“. Don’t be afraid if you are concerned then you didn’t do the sin you are worried about. The pharisees whom Jesus was talking to, had hardened their hearts and they didn't want anything to do with God. You will be fine. satan is just trying to make you lose hope and be worried. But pray to God asking for forgiveness about what you said and God will forgive you. I agree with a lot of what he said, but I believe that even if somebody prays for forgiveness, repents, and starts living the Christian lifestyle, you can still say or think about saying something blasphemous against the Holy Spirit, they can lose their salvation because he/she has made it obvious that they faked being saved.

This means that you can be forgiven for saying something slanderous or hurtful against Jesus or the Father, but if you make slanderous comments against the Holy Spirit, it means you go to hell, regardless of whether or not you're saved. Getting in God's way when He is enacting a plan to heal someone is at the heart of blasphemy. Suppressing someone's ability and right to go to church is at the heart of blasphemy. I have met a hard of heart pastors who put their own human rules and bloated sense of entitlement to commit this sin. Mr. Michael Bird, with all due respect some of you pastors are under the impression that they possess a special divine right to rule, lord, and judge over others and their issues, and that the best solution for these others is to isolate them from their in church social groups, without any serious intent to create healing and communication between peoples. The individual can accept your false deal, or you'll sic security on them to threaten them with violence. Mind you, you'll paint all this abhorrent intent in the language of christianese, but in truth, you are not a pastor, you are a politician in pastor's clothing. These are the false teachers who blaspheme against the holy spirit, for they slaughter hope heartlessly, figuring that their title makes them always right on moral issues, despite a lack of actual biblical cross referencing. I could dive into the details of how I know this, but I'll just say this: I personally know of only one man who has thoroughly convinced me that he know longer has a soul, and is bound for Hades. This man calls himself a pastor. It pains me to say this, but at his rate he is truly damned and he will be made an example of what _not_ to do when you call yourself a teacher.

Zondervan's claim is - essentially - that a so-called "Christian" cannot commit blasphemy today for several reasons. 1. Because today is a different time than when Jesus described. That argument fails because Jesus did not say that blasphemy has an expiration date. 2. Because "Christians" are bathed in the the spirit and the spirit cannot blaspheme itself. That argument fails because - Jesus didn't say that a person bathed in the Spirit cannot commit blasphemy against the Spirit. Because blasphemy is not "just a complaint" and "that's not what the scribes were doing", because the scribes were "experts" and they "look at the work of the holy Spirit" and they "damn it all to hell" . That argument fails because Zondervan cannot possibly know what was in the scribes heart. Nor can Zondervan possibly know what Jesus was thinking. All that Zondervan can know is what is written in the scripture. But the scripture does not report that the scribes "damned it all to hell". Nor do the scriptures report that "just a complaint" is excluded from blasphemy. Zondervan claims that's different from an "average christian who's calling out in despair". Well? It's extremely doubtful that Zondervan could possibly know what an "average christian" is thinking because there's around 1 billion christians and they are all individual and unique people with their own minds. Only the Father in heaven can judge them, or the Messiah. 4. Because "they are incapable of remorse". That argument fails because Jesus did not say that according to Mark, Matthew, or Luke. According to the scriptures - Jesus did not say "you are incapable of remorse and therefore you will not be forgiven". Arguendo, even if they WERE "incapable of remorse", Jesus did not say that their incapability was the basis by which he determined they had blasphemed. In fact, it seems implausible that our Father, or Jesus, would judge us based on our "incapability". After all, "incapability" is something we cannot control, right? And "incapability" is not mentioned in the 10 commandments, right? So, in his "final analysis", Zondervan seems to have failed to analyze this important issue. Jesus did not say that somebody who is "born of the spirit" is incapable of committing blasphemy. Nor did Jesus say that somebody who is "born of the spirit" will be forgiven for blasphemy against the spirit. Was not Adam born of the spirit? I think Eve was also, and look what happened to them.

He's looking at the issue from the heart of Christ, which is desiring people to be saved, not lost. In the historical context again, these people had all the evidence (they knew about the law, the prophets, even who Jesus was), and still deliberately chose to call His works of Satan because 1) light had entered into the world & man accepted it not because their deeds were evil. God has shown me that it is not by works that I am saved but by what he done for me on the cross and if I try it will never be good enough. God is so loving and gracious to show us our wrongs. Jep Jep its not pagan because if it is, then why do they resist or take me down... it only means they do not like RC. It’s hard to explain the supernatural in the spirit realm. But it still works for me. They had made sure I will be driven away and my faith away from Catholicism thru tragic natural disasters and several unfortunate events I experienced in my life because I saw the miracles under RC especially that I don’t have a priest or minister to do a deliverance. I don’t focus much on religion now but my relationship with Jesus Christ.

All sexual sins are not forgiveable. Why? Because your body is the temple of Holy God hence you cannot defile your body. You are bought at a price. I have fallen into sexual sins and i have been asking God to forgive me but God has not forgive me..my guilt always remained to remind me of my sins every now and then. So never commit sexual sin or you will face death and also lose your salvation. Flee from sexual immorality.

(And thats exactly what the devils wants people to think..that youre the only one)so the thoughts got more so that i could handle it...and then i really have my life to Jesus last October and oh man did these thoughts inflamed.
