But you have a conviction to not do it that is the Holy Spirit working repentance Some people aren’t knowledgeable and may swear even being a young Christian, but as they mature knowing more of the bible through personal reading of the bible and being taught by others. They are convicted by the truth of the Word they says we shouldn’t let filth pour out of our tongue.

Easiest way-just quit. Throw cigarettes away and never touch them again. Thats what I did, coming on 33 years ago! My husband too, but it was extremely hard for him, took 10 years to get it totally beaten. He suffers mild COPD now, has to use an inhaler twice a day. Would be much worse if he’d have continued. Please stop. Now. Pray, every minute. Drink lots of water and take walks to get it out of your system. You will find it is so much better without the expense, the smell, the anxiety of needing cigarettes! Please do it, you’ll be so grateful in just a little while.🙏🏼💕

Have a long talk with God and while you do so throw away your cigarettes that you have in your possession while talking to Him. Don't wait until the next day to do so. Do it immediately. God will help you while you are on your road to being a nonsmoker. Just quit cold... don't use any nicotine patches or gum. God will be with you all the way through it and don't listen to the negative thoughts of the enemy. You can do it.

Not even that long ago I used to swear like a sailor and not care. I didn't even ask to stop and one day I just started not swearing. I still stumble with it when I'm really really angry and ask for forgiveness if I do but, did a complete 180 thanks to the Holy Spirit.

I do cuss on occasion. I know it's wrong. It happens occasionally, especially when I'm angry. But listening to others cuss makes me realize how awful it is. My cousin for instance, has a terrible mouth. She must have said the F WORD at least 300+ times when we were on the phone. It sounds horrible and it doesn't please the Lord!

The Lord convicted me years ago on this! Cursing can be to literally curse someone (as in deny, reject, blaspheme, or make oath of harm). However, there are other verses on speech as in words that are perverse, profane, or idle. Think of it this way…if cursing were okay, why don’t we hear preachers doing it at the pulpit? If your pastor is, then find a new church! How would most parents feel if their children’s teachers were expelling profanity in the classroom? Imagine your little one coming home saying a bad word and saying they learned it from the teacher! If it’s okay to swear, why do most people watch their tongue around little children or certain people? Obviously some don’t care, but the majority watch their mouth in certain places and around certain people. We don’t turn on Christian radio and hear cussing in Christian music! Of course not, then Christian music would sound like worldly secular music. We are set apart from the world as Christians! I suggest to pray if you are struggling with the sin of swearing or any sin. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s help. I prayed years ago something like this…Heavenly Father, remove anything from my life that you don’t want to be there. Remove any noun (person, place, or thing) that does not edify You or give you glory. Remove anything that is keeping me from what You want for me! In Jesus name! 🙏🏻 Amen! Pray that with sincerity and wait for God to answer. Then be prepared for just “what” He wants to remove! It might surprise you what He brings to light. For me it was one thing after the next. It’s still continuing years after first praying this. I prayed it again recently because I don’t want any hindrances. The enemy always comes with more! We overcome 1 issue and there’s always another to work on. Trust whatever it is, its removal is for your good. In time you won’t miss it. The Lord knows what’s best for you. All for HIS GLORY! WHO decided what words are "cuss" words? What makes a word, a cuss word? Cuss words, were decided a long time ago. They were the slang words. And if you used slang, you were considered to be not respectful. God didnt decide these things. Humans did. God doesnt want us to CURSE others. And you can curse someone without ever speaking a cuss word. And you can use a cuss word, without ever cursing someone. What is the difference between poop, doo-doo, feces, and shit? They all have the same meaning. And according to the decision, of what makes a word a cuss word, then all those words are cuss words, except for feces. So lets not be distracted by this. It is just one more thing twisted by evil. One more thing to judge another over. Just one more thing used to divide.

I am grateful for your content created through the Holy Ghost. There are video that says “kap chatfield exposed”, and I found out they have simply been mistaking your teaching out of context. I believe that you only needs to believe to get to heaven, as the Bible says so. But to become a FOLLOWER of Christ, you have to oriove that by actions. I am now saved by his grace however I struggled with a mouth of filth until one day The Lord delivered me from my mouth and made it very clear…. I was LIMITED in my vocabulary using curse words to escape or describe a multitude of things. After 3 weeks I started finding it offensive to hear others curse. It’s about intention, as in to curse someone like a spell. You don’t have to use a specific word or even a curse word -but it’s the way you say it. For example. Get away from me” (victim) and “Get the F word away from me you xyz” (survivor) have different impacts in NYC 😂. I need to curse them out if they try to touch me so they leave me alone, like you would rebuking. It’s not the words but the curse itself. A woman who was kicked off an airplane for bad behavior told everyone “I hope you all die” as she left; the pilot got her arrested and blacklisted. They got everyone off the flight and got a whole new crew and airplane. Not one curse word -but she cursed them. That’s pure blasphemy. I never swore, wasn’t raised like that but had a friend who did in college and it was like an infection… Left my faith and it got worse and found it difficult to stop. So I get why George wants to stop. He should. If you curse to bring harm, then yeah that is blasphemy. But also to curse just-because is too because you call on demonic energy. It’s definitely perception. I’m Latina, non curse words in English can be curse words in Spanish depending on how you use them in a phrase. So we can’t sit here and have a glossary, you have to have discernment. IF the time calls for it I’ll swear but after returning to him I don’t naturally curse anymore because all that rage and aggression is gone, he’s all I need in my heart. I’m glad George saw what was happening and the ladies addressed it with him. Open conversation is better than controlling people. Some people curse just so they don’t have to face the reasons why they do. And others damn them for cursing while being arrogant and controlling tattle tales, that’s not right either. We all have issues to work on. 😊

I know I am not worthy. I have cussed like a sailor for the majority of my life. In the past 5-7 years, life has systematically phased out temptations such as alcohol out of my life. Since I've come closer to Christ and reading scriptures daily, I sense the cringiness not only when I use the Lord's name in vain but when others do too. I started watching/listening to religious content, less violent content, but I still cuss. I do still imbibe, maybe once a month, and the alcohol consumption either does nothing or makes me sick. I decided to focus on the commandments, especially not taking the Lord's Name in vain. If all these impure things keep me from truly hearing God's Word and His will for me, then I must slowly but surely give these things to walk with Christ. Let no filthy words come from our mouth as Christians. If it’s not edifying; It should not be used. This is why you should test every idea and thought by the Spirit of truth and the word. George seems to be working on himself though. … but that naked and exposed woman he is with makes me cling a bit. ….Jesus wants us to repent and be redeemed. I've not watched yet but, I'm new to christianity, 43 y/o only started going to church last year. Always a believer but chose the wrong path in my youth. Honestly, I swore A LOT.. I still swear although I'm trying my hardest not to. Personally I don't think it's ok yet I wont judge someone for it or then i become a hypocrite. Your words have power and they need to be non judgemental and filled with love. Swearing is not good but wrongfully using language of any sort is no good either. Words should be used to build yourself and to build others in the name and glory of Jesus.

But I know that even if for no other reason than we can lead others astray by what comes out of our mouths! Keep up the great work! I’m a repeat offender of using fowl language. However, since I have been spending more time with God and the Bible and Christian friends. I find myself not swearing as much. In fact, I had a phone conversation a while back with a friend who loves to cuss and I realized how awful I sounded when I did it. I’m still a work in progress but I find myself using less profanity as the days go on.

I gotta question. .... never seen anyone else say anything. What is up with the porn name ? It's literally a porn name with Bible added to it?! Even the logo is the exact same logo just with bible added to it..... how am I the only one who doesn't like that? I've heard a little bit of their stuff but the name for me..... I just cant get on board with that. Out of every combination of words known to man.... all the creativity in the world..... and they landed on a well known porn name and a well known porn logo. Just because cursing is used and accepted nowadays, doesn't mean it's right with God. And if an unrighteous person apologizes for swearing it should be wrong for us too. I choose to be like Jesus as much as I can everyday.

It's actually the flesh that curses. There is a lot more going on inside of you than most people think. You inhabit a body, so can spirits. The Holy Spirit can move you and even use your own tongue at times. So can the evil spirits. Stay on gaurd!!

I'm not sure if Kap covers this in the video yet or not because I'm only halfway through it. But no you shouldn't. I used to look at drinking alcholol the same way since Jesus was a fan of wine. But scripture tells us not to do anything that causes someone else to struggle with their relationship or salvation from the Lord. So if somebody is looking to you as an example, even unknowingly and then hears you cussing and/or drinking then that could have a negative affect on them connecting with God.

Sometimes I would be so stressed I would find myself cussing when I didn’t want to do do. Was it right or okay …I did not think so and being a Christian made me feel worse. Then I believe the Lord showed me the Bible verse where it says that Peter cursed. He did so when he was under a lot of stress. Was it right? I don’t believe so, but it helped me to feel like a human instead of someone trying to be superhuman. It took the pressure off of me to not be some legalistic Christian. I rarely cuss at all anymore. And when I do I remember Peter and realize that I’m human and I calm down and I am OK.

The Bible is very clear about swearing/cursing/cussing so it did surprise me that George thought it was ok. I'm sure he wouldn't cuss whilst talking to Jesus. It is great tho to see the change during his podcast with the GGB girls.

As Jesus’ children we need to be careful with our tongue. We need to remember what God says about our words. There’s life and death in our tongue. Also we need to present ourselves as Jesus Christ did, and NOT let us dragged ourselves into this world and the conformities of this world. We are not of this World, we are separated From this world.

Believe scripture says we’ll be judged by our words as well. When I hear Christians cuss it really just sounds like the people who don’t know Yeshua and are of the world, I hear christians cuss a lot and their witness becomes null because even non Christians know this. We are to be set apart. I am thankful for the grace Yeshua has given me and I personally don’t want to abuse this gift, but more then that I don’t want my witness to be of no effect to someone who is lost. I truly appreciate the help, he received with love instead of the children of God standing there accusing him as I see all over you tube, we already have an accuser who stands before God accusing us night and day but Yeshua said to love one another as he loves us. If a brother or sister is in fault go and speak with them, then take a witness, then bring it to the church, but it’s done because and out of the love of messiah and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

I cant follow Jesus ive backslide and watch pornagraphy and lust and the sin I dont know I want to talk about it but it made me get memory loss and right now my mind is so black like It will hurt a little bit if I try to think and my mind is damaged I'm 14 and Mexican and I keep getting thoughts in my head that scares me like if I do this or if I say that this will happen or like you have powers I want to come back to Jesus but I don't know what I'm doing i forgot the encouragements but in the Bible says neither you're Hot or cold I will spit you if you're a lukewarm but I see I'm a lukewarm but I should just stay cold I don't know what to do im guilty I'm wrong I'm dumb I want to force my soul to listen to me and my body like the man but I don't remember the name but he was fighting Jesus and holding onto him for hours to fix his life

I was always a huge cusser. But it was just vocabulary, everyone was doing it so I just got used to it too. But A couple of years ago I decided I would try to stop cussing and it was hard. But I have felt more at peace not cussing all the time. I would bite my finger every time i cussed or used God’s name in vain to remind me I need to stop and change

Yes, it is true as christians we shouldn't cuss. But even more importantly, we are supposed to show the love of Chrsit and help others. I know people who still cuss that make better Christians than those who never speak one bad word. Our actions speak louder than our words.

I think the issue is is that people do not define what is profanity. I hear people say crap and then I hear people say s***and yet people will act like one is worse than the other when they both mean the same thing. The same with ass and butt. I don't think it's profane to say I'm going to kick your butt, playing around.
