Local here. Fontana Dam you used to be able to ride the trolley from the gift shop down into the dam itself until 09/11. Fontana Dam & Village my great grandfather helped build. We raced DH & Dual Slalom at the village and watched a guy unload his brand new street bike, take off down the road & come back an hour later on the back of his buddy's bike. They said he made it 3 curves on the Dragon.

The econolines fron 2000 to 2015 all run 1 of 3 key patterns due to them being a fleet vehicle. I run a E-150 and can open my friends E-650 with my key. Most auto parts stores have spare keys in stock.

In regard to Scotto's eBay Motors plug, and his point of getting extra keys, fobs *( in the event you ever lose one, break one or battery dies on 1 a spare is very handy.).Extra keys only do good when multiple people have them. The driver /(you) has a set, and your partner, friend, family has another. On long road-trips both of you should have your own key to help ensure you don't end up locked out.

Not sure if they still allow it, but about 25 years ago I came up on a semi with a lowboy and I’m had to follow it about 9 miles down to dragon to NC. Freaking ridiculous! Of course it had to cross all the way in the other lane for most corners and ran many cars and bikes off the road.
