Had Germany invaded Czechoslovakia while it still had sudentland, it would have either been a costly German victory or a costly Czechoslovakian victory. The German army at this time wasn’t as powerful as it would be during ww2 and blitzkrieg was still in its testing phase. Czechoslovakia had a large trained army during the time and had strong forts and defences along the border of sudentland. When sudentland was given to Germany, it basically sealed the fate for Czechoslovakia. Though they still had 1.25 million trained soldiers, without the strong defences and forts that were in the sudentland, they wouldn’t be able to withstand the force of the invading German army. Hence why Czechoslovakia fell.
