As a paranormal investigator, my advice is to NOT whisper while you record always speak normal volume because if you do catch any Class A evp’s you won’t know the difference. Also put the spirit box on a faster sweep rate. You should not be able to identify the words from a radio station. You want it to sweep fast enough that if you do hear words across 40 sweeps a second you know it was not a specific station. An EVP is what you get recording without the spirit box going and you hear recorded responses

@@andi12270 that also moved when the FLIR camera moved. When looking for something you look for heat or cold signature foremost and then try to make out what it is. Like the darkest spot they pointed to was a colder spot (possible shadow figure) and the part you seen closer to the meter was something screen related since it didn’t move out of the frame at first when the camera moved. As a note when using the spirit box a faster scan is 100ms not the 350ms. It is opposite from what you would think

You ever feel like you’ve wasted a bunch of time and money being a paranormal investigator? (I don’t mean that condescendingly. I’m genuinely asking. Cuz at the end of the day, it’s all a “waste” if you - not you specifically, any investigator - never produces any CONCRETE IRREFUTABLE smoking-gun evidence in their career. I’ve enjoyed some paranormal hunts myself in my teenage years & early 20’s. But I’d never call myself a proper paranormal investigator. That takes much more of an investment)

I highly recommend ghost hunting in the Nonantum in Kennebunkport Maine! It’s over 125 years old and houses more than 27 spirits that are more restless during the off season.

I think a really fun video idea as a skeptic is to "ghost hunt" at a place that is not rumored to be haunted at all and see what you find. I feel like that would solidify the idea that you can find "weird" stuff anywhere if you are looking hard for it.

Here's a tip: When using the Spirit Box, try and keep it on the entire time. Usually the spirits and such will talk through it even if you're not asking questions. Sometimes they'll say your names and other fun stuff.

@@Tearituplikewasabi It does, but the way it works is that the "entities" use different frequencies with those radio stations and picks out words or phrases to say. It doesn't make sense all the time, yes, but on some occasions it will accurately reply to a question or something someone says. A good example is to watch a video from the OVERNIGHT channel, all of their videos are professionally done and show how the spirit box works properly. If you're curious.

Currently writing you this in hopes you ever see it while watching your ghost hunting video with your doggos, I live in TN approximately an hour south of Nashville. When I was younger I use to cater at this really big and eerie old plantation located in springhill Tennessee, called Rippavilla plantation. A really big peace treaty was actually signed there during the battle of Franklin, I would absolutely DIE to see you ghost tour this place! I myself have felt like I’ve been watched while working in there, not to mention the many of ghost stories the actual workers at the plantation have told me. I’m a huge fan of yours, I have seen every single KZbin video you have ever posted and I’m telling you, this place is worth checking out. I remember this one distinct time I was upstairs in what you would consider a “trophy room” the room is full of old war equipment, and pictures of the family or people that were in the war. One time while looking at the pictures I got a cold chill down the back of my neck and I swear to you the eyes in the picture were looking back at me!! They actually used to give ghost tours during the Halloween szn and I believe they keep ghost equipment on deck there. I’m telling you it would be worth the trip out here, such a creepy place with the same old creepy furniture still in the house!!

I've stayed at the Glen Tavern Inn for my anniversary years ago. We stayed on the second floor. We heard kids playing in the hallway, tapping noises, curtains moving and the occasional laughing. Other than that, it's a really nice hotel steps away from Downtown Santa Paula. Would definitely stay there again, just this time on the 3rd floor :)

the voice at 47:38 was Juan Gabriel lol, it was in Spanish, he was a very famous hispanic singer that passed away a few years ago. my mother is an insane fan of his so I immediately recognized the song as “Abrázame Muy Fuerte” 😂 it was funny hearing him pop out of no where lol. It’s a very beautiful song but the section that played roughly translates to this in english “Time is cruel and doesn’t favor anyone, that’s why I tell you, hug me tight love, keep me here by your side. I want to thank you, love, for everything that you’ve given me. I wish I could talk to you in one way or another all the time.”

I've been working in a hotel for more than ten years and during covid quarantine I was alone in the hotel (I'm the night auditor). It was a really bad storm and I decided that I wanted to watch it rain from one of the balconies on the 5th floor. When I entered the room, the phone in the room rang!!! The only way for that phone to ring is for someone to call from another room or the front desk. Again, I was ALONE IN THE HOTEL. I basically just skedattled back downstairs and sat under the cameras until the next shift came in. it was kinda terrifying, but also awesome!!!

Hyello!!! I'm so happy you're back! And I'm here for my skeptic queen to debunk some stuff: Both the flashing you see as a blue light on 41:11 and the light from Mark's phone on 45:26 is from sensors like the face scanner that activate to unlock the phone or work with some apps depending on your settings. We are not supposed to see these lights, but some cameras can pick them up. You can tell Katy's phone activated and failed to unlock which is why you hear the vibrations. I noticed she was holding her phone next to the camera in 32:58, so it seems entirely possible to me.
