My dog can do that too, it’s helpful. Every time you let them out or they want to go out say something like “ring your bell” while pointing to the bell and wait till they touch it somehow to where it rings, and then let them out. I’m pretty sure that’s how we did it at least. We have a bell tied to a ribbon hanging on the door knob (bc my dog is low to the ground) for context.

I got so emotional when she explained why she got Ripley and how it helped her during a point in her life when she had extreme anxiety 🙃I just lost my baby girl last month and it's so painful when I see other dogs. She was a min pin, for anyone who doesn't know basically a min Doberman. She tolerated my family members but was always with me only and loved to snuggle. I don't think I'll be able to get another dog until a while and this bred might be my next since getting another min pin just sounds too painful
