The reality of my golf game vs my expectations is what always brings me back. I love the challenge. I adore my good days and have never let my bad days get to me or bring me down. I try to look at each bad shot as something to try and not repeat again which is of course impossible in the eyes of the golf gods. Never the less it's definitely a part of my life that I always look forward to doing at each and every opportunity and knowing that I may never be any better than average doesn't bother me one little bit. I'm not playing to become perfect, I'm playing because it is perfectly fun.

The greens fee for Ross Bridge is usually about $150. Three years ago they offered a one day greens fee of $75 including breakfast and lunch, but you had to play from the tips which you see here. My brothers and I played it and had a great time. LOTS of long irons/fairway woods into greens!
@LTR14202 жыл бұрын
Yeah but that's a one time fee. If you buy a "trail card" (no extra cost), it cuts the price to play in half and works at every course on the trail. We play the RTJ courses in the Shoals regularly and you can't beat 45 bucks with a trail card.
@ivyfalls12 жыл бұрын
@@LTR1420 I have a Trail Card as well.. . I was just pointing out that Ross Bridge started having a day, once per year, where they offered breakfast and lunch for a heavily discounted rate but you had to play from the tips. It was so popular the past couple of years that they have raised the entry fee to over the rack rate.

My father in law told me don't make a bad shot turn into 2 bad shots. You got stuck in the woods and did the best you could to get out, but up against the water you get the ball back in the fairway with an easy 7j or 8 iron shot and good look at the green.
