Luke, fresh fish is a whole new story. Fresh fish doesn't have that sea fishy and scaley seafood taste in smell. Sushi is usually some good fish like salon or tuna.

Cod is amazing. Tacos, fish n chips. So good. Raw Tuna and spicy tuna is the next step. Salmon is fine. It’s too dry for me. Definitely stay away from frozen cheap fish, fish sticks, frozen meals, etc.

hey luke. you can wash the fish to get rid of the top coating and then. use some white pepper and the sauce to marinate it for 30 min to an hour before cooking. white pepper actually helps get rid of the fishiness but don’t use too much as it’s really strong spice tuna is actually one of the easiest fish to eat bc it’s not as fishy. i would def try less strong tasting fish before trying salmon and sardines and anchovies and such

I recommend spicy fish like you go to chinese sichuan restaraunt to have some sichuan food. when the fish is spicy and numbing you don't really feel the fishy smell anymore you just taste its texture

Good starting point would be fast food fried fish, my preference would be Long John Silvers fried fish. It’s fish for people that don’t like fish. It has zero “fishy” flavor. I like whatever fish, but even salmon is too much for me.
