This is fabulous!! I will certainly be purchasing. After I finish my ANTEAGE MD products. They have the human bone marrow. I am a skin nerd, even at 65!! I have fab skin, never a sun person or drank, so that is a help. I will happily volunteer to help science move forward especially in aesthetics 😂. Thank you all for your time

After I had Ellacor my Dr. recommended to start using PLATED after one application my face started to burn so I had to stop it, It's been 2 months that I had Ellacor and I am still healing even though I am now in my second bottle of PLATED and using twice a day. For now I would say that its NOT helping to speed my recovery at all.

Which Plated did you use? The "Calm" one burns me too. I prefer the Daily and the Intense.

@@SkinTypeSolutions I used the Intense.

I stupidly decided to take a chance on the Plated hair serum. It caused my scalp to have a pink/red hue..I had itchiness and hair fallout. I have the intense as well and have used it a few times but it does absolutely zero for my redness, acne marks, etc., if any if gave me a pimple or two after my skin had been doing great during the few weeks when I was only using Neogenesis Recovery, which has helped my skin tremendously with my rosacea and skin barrier irritation..Recovery plus Osmosis Rescue literally got rid of my rosacea. Haven’t had any breakouts or skin issues ever sense starting these products..except for when I broke the routine to try Plated. The products are a SCAM.

So interesting! What are your thoughts on one skin? I wonder if plated and one skin would be a good combination

Will there be any active patient studies at the Mayo Clinic for this or similar dermatology products? Where could we learn about the studies if we wanted to enroll?

It is safe to use Plated on the neck when a person has hypothyroidism and nodules? Thank you

Great question. I do not think that has been specifically studied but I cannot think of any reason that it would be a problem.

I wonder how a product like this would work with universal peel pads...

wait 10 minutes after the peel pads to let the pH return to normal before you use Plated.

Can you discuss if a product like epiceram which claims to have ceramides at a ratio of 3:1:1 which they claim as being the same as healthy skin’s natural barrier on its website as accurate? Has that ratio been confirmed and proven by other peer reviewed studies? Is this moisturizer superior to other otc moisturizers because it is formulated with this ratio in mind?
@SkinTypeSolutions2 жыл бұрын
Great questions! EpiCeram was developed with the 1:1:1 ratio described by Peter Elias. So---It is FDA approved but via a 510K application which requires much less proof. Here is an article that discusses if Epiceram is truly better. The verdict in this paper is that it is not better than some barrier repair creams that do not require a prescription. Experts are now starting to use the maltese cross pattern to determine if a barrier repair moisturizer does what it should. We will be interviewing an expert on this in a few weeks so watch for that video. The moisturizers that have a maltese cross pattern seem to be better barrier repair. Examples available in the US are Zerafite Barrier Repair and Medature PSL Cream, both of which are sold on our website. We do not know if EpiCeram shows the Maltese cross pattern.

@@SkinTypeSolutions hello! Thank you for your response and linking that study. Their website states, “epiceram replenishes the lipids in the stratum corneum by providing 3 essential ingredients-ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids in a patented 3:1:1 ratio that mimics the natural level of the stratum corneum.” However I have yet to figure out if that ratio has been scientifically proven or not with peer reviewed studies. In fact, I have heard the opposite: that which ceramides and at what ratio, and what is the “ideal” ratio are all unknown! So confusing! I did see a story where epiceram, atopiclair, and aquaphor had similar results and therefore aquaphor was more cost-effective out of the three. The issue for me is that: 1)lanolin allergy and 2)is determining if epiceram or atopiclair are more cosmetically elegant than aquaphor (or any other ointment) and therefore easier to apply and adhere to. I haven’t seen any more recent studies on epiceram and what is frustrating is that it was previously available as otc (called triceram I believe).
