Injustice has a screen like 3 to 4 times as wide, more jump attacks, the game is a lot more zoning heavy, inputs are easier and there are a lot less strings or special moves to learn. Juggling is also easier and instead of buttons corresponding to a limb, they are used to do either a light, medium, heavy attack or trait.

If you're on ps4: 1 is square. 2 is triangle. 3 is X. 4 is circle. 1 is the light attack. 2 is the medium attack. 3 is the heavy attack. Each character has a trait which affects them, their moveset or the opponent in a certain way. 4 is used to activate this trait. D is down. J is jump. B is back. F is forward. Holding a direction and pressing 1,2,3 or 4 does a different attack to standing still and pressing them. These are what you need to learn first with each character, most commonly known as their buttons. This means as a rule of thumb each character has 15 buttons. B3 bounces your opponent of a wall, f3 bounces them off the floor. D2 is the antiair. D1 typically is a characters fastest attack - their poke. Then jump attacks, j1 is the fastest, j2 is in the middle and j3 is the slowest. J3 is the only jump attack that knocks down opponents. It also affects gravity the most. After learning the buttons you have to learn their strings. Pressing multiple buttons in succession whilst either holding a B, D or F. Strings do different amounts of damage and are useful in specific situations. Then you have to learn a characters special moves. Inputting one or any number of directions and pressing 1 button. For example with batman, BF2 makes him throw his batarang. With movement, BB is to dash backwards, FF is to dash forwards, JB is a backwards jump and JF is a forwards jump. In this game, similar to mkx, there is a thing called super meter. You use meter to clash, meter burn roll, to enhance special moves, a super move or air escape. Getting hit gains meter or doing special moves. You have 4 meter bars and each game you start off with none. The first person to hit their opponent gets 1 bar. In a game each character has 2 life bars. A red one, the first, and a white one, the second. They have their own amount of health and different amounts of defense but they balance out and characters take the same percentage of damage.
