Can Founder Be Prevented? Vlog | My Pony's New Diet and Exercise Plan

A recent farrier visit has given me a wake up call that my pony is at serious risk of founder. Founder, also called laminitis is caused by inflammation of the laminae, the tissue that connects the hoof to the coffin bone in the foot. It's frequently caused by a horse or pony being overweight, which is my pony. (it can be caused by other things though, too!)
Since I don't want my pony to go through that, it's time to do what I can to prevent it!
