The play vs Georgia where Brock misses Destyn on that post and Keon’s long TD vs VT are examples of how Destyn being on the field opens things up. 2 safeties and the slot all rushed to cover him on a deep post and left Keon wide open down the sideline.

I can see this Offense having 3 WR over 35 + catches Williams, Hill & Benson with two over 45. Marlock should have 30 + from the TE position. All three should have over 600 rec yds. Douglas will be the wild card.

Consistency is going to be the key that separates the WRs. It’s that simple can you go an give us a consistent 1 or 2 catches a game for meaningful gains. TDS or big first downs .

So, before we were getting knocked for not developing and putting WRs in the NFL. Now that we did that, it's moved to we need to grab high school WRs and develop them and put them in the NFL. I wonder where the goalposts will move once that happens? Maybe they'll pick out a certain height and weight WR we haven't gotten to the 1st round. It really makes me wonder how long these nitpicks will work on convincing people not to come here

Have to disagree w the hykeem take that he should be a screen type go, get the ball to him quick and let him be a running back. That’s perfectly describing Jalen Lucas the fastest guy on the team 5’9” 170lbs. He’s your screen guy, your get the ball quickly and let him go in space guy. My bet is by week 1 hykeem is the #1 outside receiver or 2 behind Malik benson. Destyn hill #3

Lots of talent but look at the trans that were in it for the national championship towards the end last year. Almost all had WRs/TEs that are elite 1st/2nd round guys

What do Keon and Johnny both have in common? Pretty much the same thing as all the best players that FSU has had on the roster the last several years. Transfers. Have we really developed anybody outside of maybe Patrick Payton or Josh Farmer that wasn't a transfer? Sorry, but Dougans isn't developing anybody. It we don't get a legit transfer every year, then it's a slow 3 year process to see if any development happens. Williamson, Poitier, Burrell, etc, etc, etc.

It’s a question they need to answer but they also developed Johnny, they’ve developed Tron, and others. Just need some of their HS guys to become features.

I don't think our hs wr's have developed at all in the last few years. Replace Dugans and Shannon on this staff with 2 guys who have a pulse in recruiting, and this team would be so different. When you actually land the top guys who come in ready , sometimes they don't need as much coaching up as the other dudes. Norvell eventually has to let these guys walk. Loved Dugans as a player. Not so much as a coach.@@CoachAB75
