Nah I am convinced that cursed energy is just normal ki but has a bit of negative or evil ki mixed with it and purple hollow is just using ki blast using ki that just so happens to have high amount of negative ki that mutated into energy of destruction. So purple hollow is just hakai and if goku can use it, that same technique will be able to delete the universe. The domain expansion is basically hit’s ability but on higher scale I guess.
