The death of his uncle for Miles contained a lesson that you shouldn't turn away from relatives who love you for the sake of easy money, adventures, or simply because of misunderstandings. Apparently both Aaron and Miles' father had criminal records. And when Jeff at one point decided to give up such a life for the sake of love, his son and service to the law, Aaron felt betrayed. Most likely, the unwillingness to try to improve the relationship due to misunderstandings, disagreements, stubbornness, selfishness or something else destroyed the Davis family. For Miles, this was a lesson that you can't turn away from your family, no matter what the cost. And we saw the logical result of this lesson in the sequel. Miles was presented with the same choice as his uncle: a promising future close to powerful people, but with someone else's blood on his hands, or family. And if Aaron, in his fateful moment, agreed to the first, but Miles...

ACROSS THE SPIDER VERSE SPOILER!!: When Uncle Aaron said “I wanted you to look up to me” proves that Miles was supposed to be the prowler in that universe but he got bit by the spider from earth 42 which in that universe, miles is supposed to become Spider-Man but this one did instead so they switched places. He wanted miles to be the prowler like him which ended up well in earth 42 since there was no spider to bite earth 42 miles. (Hopefully that made sense)

Prowler was less experienced with Peter B Parker. As you can see Prowler didn’t react fast to dodge Peter B. And the way Prowler flew out of the house is the same pose 1610 Peter Parker flew when he hit the collider

This is why I can't wrap my head around Miles' father NEEDING to die. He already loses his Uncle, which achieves the same results the "canon" follows. The Spiderman loses a dear loved one, and thus causes them to head down the right path. Gwen's Peter is the loved one she loses, not her father. Aaron is Miles' loved one that dies. His father at this point would be an UNNECESSARY casualty. Thus Miguel being dead wrong to expect Miles to sit back and watch more of his family die for a canon event that has technically already passed.

Then the girl who literally can split herself and has access to a bunch of diffferent visions and knows of his invisibility, doesnt switch and never sees him. In the first movie Miles can not control when he turns invisible and was found by Prowler on the stairs when he turned visible again. In the second movie, Miles learned to control invincibility much better.

he just became spiderman in this movie… give him a break. he got the hang of it in the second movie, but without much help from his spider “friends”, he’s completely clueless about anything going on outside of his universe. you can see that in the second movie, he didnt know what canon events were or how much damage they cause if broken. peter wasnt perfect and was also a fuck up sometimes; becoming spiderman doesnt automatically make you a professional hero with 0 flaws.
